  • ahahaha my arab gelding did the same thing sort of when i had to stable him for 3 months because of an injury. his first time out going for a walk and he kept rearing and prancing like an absolute moron. your guy just looks so ridiculously happy though lol

  • Awww! Absolutely adorable!!! My STB wass on stallrest for ages too and when he got to come out he was over the MOON.

  • He was dying to be free for a while ...don 't you communicate with your horse?

  • @8anasisl its not really about communicating, if he was hurt and couldnt go out he couldnt go out, nothing they could do about it until now :/

  • He wanted to roll and leap around at the same time xD couldn't decide which one to do = this video! Haha, he's beautiful :)

  • @UnexpressedThoughts that's hilarious, i've seen my buckskin, sundance, so happy and full of himself with not enough room to run, so he just sprung straight up in the air like a kitten! i couldn't believe it!

  • Wow, I've never seen a horse so happy to see/feel grass!!

  • Aww too cute! he was so pumped!

  • wtf why would you laugh

  • That's hilarious! By why didn't you let him loose?

  • he was like yay I can roll...he was happy to be out...I know the feeling my horse got hurt and had to be on stall rest too for 3 weeks

  • Come on, every horse go's crazy when they get out of box rest ...

  • I would be worried, this certainly isn't normal behaviour... i'm sure he doesn't find it very funny-.-

  • i hate the way that race horses are treated..we just got a off the track gelding and he hasnt been turned out since he was a baby when he was turned out 24/7, when he was raceing he kept hurting himself so he couldnt race and they kept him in a stall and hand walked him, i think horses should be outside all the time whenever it is possible for them to be, with them still coming in ofcourse..your horse is lovely and it kills me seeing him like that wanting to be turned out

  • he is soooooooooooooooooo funny

  • your cruel

  • Comment removed

  • I think there is something wrong with him... horses just don't do that..

His back legs weren't functioning properly :S

  • @AbbeyKateMackay The grass is wet; he slipped. Just a little overexcited horse.

  • @AbbeyKateMackay read description , he was on box rest for an injury

  • @AbbeyKateMackay this horse is totally normal xd he is just very excited to be outside :) imagine if you stay home during months.... you'll look like this when you'll be outside for the first time , haha:)

  • @AbbeyKateMackay i think that to :(

  • @AbbeyKateMackay i dont really think you can judge the wellbeing of a horse from a 30sec clip..

  • @AbbeyKateMackay i agree its not normal but have you met every horse in the world and judged them after they've been on box rest for a serious injury? no - so how can you be the world's expert on it? my horse went absolutely nuts after he'd been in for only two weeks of box rest - all horses react in different ways.

  • What the fuck is he doing? :)

  • Ppl take a chill pill gawd

  • I love how on one video of Paco rolling in shavings everyones like 'awww! that's soo sweet!' Then here he's a little crazy and everyones like 'animal abuse!' obviously he's taken care od well enough. I admit this isn't normal behavior, but it ISN'T abuse.

  • This horse is obviously trying to tell you something. And you stand there laughing. I feel bad for the horse.

  • Thisis not funny at all, the horse is having a SEIZURE and is paddocked, he's a race horse? Call Animal Control! Poor thing.

  • Comment removed

  • Wow, that is one damaged horse.

But then again, what race horse isn't damaged in some way..

  • WTF THIS SI NOT FUNNY THIS POOR HORSE ISNT ACTING HIS NORMAL BEHAVIER LET HIM OUT MORE!!!!!!!

  • He looks stressed

  • It's NOT funny. Don't laugh at this poor horse.

  • wooow thats ummmm i dont know.....

  • excited horse?!?! that's the dummest thing... i don't know what happened before or after this video was taken but to me it sure does look like this horse is not having fun... a horse that attacks the ground and rolls like this, where i come from, is in pain! i say that with over 16 years experience in horses, and to me that looks like stomach ache with that rolling an tossing around in something that looks like panic-like pain... and notice his ears too... mad ears is not happiness.

  • OMG WHY DO YOU THINK THAT IS FUNNY ITS NOT!! THAT POOR HORSE!!!!! IF I WERE THAT HORSE I WOULD HATE MY OWNER! RUDE!

  • your horse is officially a member of the goober club, which all of the horses ive ever worked with are also members of, congrats(: hahahahah watta goof! very cute though!

  • lol! my friends horse is named paco!

  • Ahahhahaahahahahaahaaahhaahhahahahahahaha Funny As!

  • That horse is a mad as a box of frogs!

  • @sewardsteve

No it wasn't. That horse was happy. Read the description. He was just excited about being in the grass.

  • Don't listen to these assholes. That horse was not being aggressive to you in any manner, he was obviously excited and as you said you were trying to take it slow with him and he wanted to just run. He looked very happy and new on his feet (:

  • horse: I HATE PINK I HATE PINK!!!

  • you shouldnt let him roll with a lead rope attached to the halter, because he do that when your riding him

  • I would have called a vet, hope you did sometime to make sure he was ok damn owner >.<

  • I've watched some videos about this horse, and truly, I'm highly saddened in how he is treated. He should NOT act like this around you, very dangerous behavior, also, that horse needs to RUN. I seen his paddock in a video, the size of that thing was cruel. He needs a pasture of grass to run in. I have seen horses who don't live in grass, they don't act like that. If it WAS the grass, why is he nuts in his small, muddy paddock?

  • I agree with cammarkgross, looks like a heart attack :(

  • Jesus, I would have thought he was having a heart attack lol

  • can i use these clips in a video im making? i will give you full credit

  • i dont really know much about horses but he seems to be paniced and really scared/spooked by something? maybe taking him calmly to a quiet, darker area would of been better? but i dont know much about horses so yeah

  • @BoomerMyBaby a racing ID is tattooed on the inside of their bottom lip. That's how you know you have a registered racing machine! It's ok though, Many people don't know that

  • @1horseylover4 It's actually on their upper lip. :)

  • @1horseylover4 Yes that is normally true, I own and ex-racer (and there are like 15 others at my barn, my trainer rescue, trains, the sells them), but since she got him as an ex-racer, maybe there was a reason he has his tattoo on his neck instead. That could be a possibilty, although unlikely, but it is an idea

  • @1horseylover4 Oh and it's the toplip, just so you know

  • If a horse go's crazy when he see's grass....he needs to be let out more. Thats NOT normal behavier...

  • @JasperIsaLittleHorse it was the texture of the flor what he loved

  • @JasperIsaLittleHorse maybe you should read about what she wrote, that the horse was on stall rest with a bowed tendon. OBVIOUSLY it hadn't been let out for a while. Jeez, go find a real problem to get worked up over...

  • Comment removed

  • @JasperIsaLittleHorse If I was smart? haha you don't know anything about me :) sorry for not searching through page after page on this video for the second comment, maybe you should just delete the first one to end the confusion? But whatever you decide :) and what does the fact of a horse needing rest after an injury have any relevance here? I'm AGREEING that a horse with an injury needs to rest. lololol books have no relevance here, I've been riding for 10 years, I think I got this :)

  • Comment removed

  • @JasperIsaLittleHorse Well, you don't know anything about me, for all you know I could have been studying horsemanship skills for years and years! And yes, it's true that some injuries require stall rest AND some small stall rest, however I'm not sure if the same is true for EVERY SINGLE injury. And unless you've spent years in Veterinary school, I don't think you can say otherwise.

  • Comment removed

  • @JasperIsaLittleHorse Well, again, you know absolutely nothing about me. :)

believe it or not, I have taken care of a few injured horses myself and they all healed well so I think I'm doing a good job of what I'm doing, and if I ever have a doubt I'll consult my veterinarian, not someone over the internet. Thanks though!

  • Comment removed

  • @JasperIsaLittleHorse That's funny because I actually wasn't giving anyone advice lol. Congrats you've taken care of sick/ injured horses, I'm sure you do a good job at what you do, just don't think you're the only one who knows anything either... Maybe have an open mind and listen to other's opinions? But whatever it's your call. And I don't want to spam this video with any more comments, sorry. If you find you have something else to say I always have an ask box. Thanks!

  • @JasperIsaLittleHorse the horse was on stall rest.. probably not allowed out due to bad leg injury, vet probably said to keep him in.. read the description.

  • @SassyMustang1980 I read the description. I also made a comment below acording to what i have to say about that. Even with leg injuries....even broken front legs twords the end of recovery it's better for the horse to be in natural suroundings and have more room to walk and have grass to graze. A leg that stands in a stall to long gets stiff and bored and restless and worried...a worried restless horse doesn't recover very fast. It's best to let them exercise an injury at some point.

  • @JasperIsaLittleHorse it totally depends on what their vet told them to do. If she was told to leave him in the stall then thats what she probably did. I had a friend a few years ago where her horse had fractured his knee, and was told to keep the horse in the stall for 3 weeks. so it could heal.. again depends on the injury and what the vet told them told them to do.

  • @SassyMustang1980 True, but i'm sure after 3 weeks your friend began letting him use the leg and go outside to help keep it from stiffening and makeing it a little stronger each day. If you leave a horse in there till he is absolutly and completely healed you could get this reaction when he go's outside and hurt himself again. But either way...a reaction to grass like that doesn't develope over a few weeks. And a reaction to grass like that......by a HORSE, a grazer! Um yeah...no.

  • @JasperIsaLittleHorse yeah after the 3 week period she was allowed to handwalk her horse for 5-10mins 2x a day. and it was hard to keep her calm during that process as well, but the lead was never longer then a foot long.. but I agree, horse could have injured him self fairly quick here, depending on his injury he had.

  • @SassyMustang1980 Sounds like she did a great job with her horse, Is he healthy now? And it btohers me the horse is acting this way twords what should be an everyday thing for a horse but what btohrs me most about it is that the ground was somewhat muddy and slippery and it just made it all that more dangerus....i cringed everytime to made a big movement, it was like he didn't know his feet were there.

  • @JasperIsaLittleHorse yep horse is fine, 100% sound now.. My other friends horse has a sever head injury we are nursing back to health.. happened on Dec.26th 2011, and so far very slow progress, can hardly walk.. and is pretty much hard at seeing.. we are giving her 6mons. to see if she improves before we make the ultimate decision. but we have high hopes!!

  • @SassyMustang1980 Best of luck! Hope she pulls through sounds like you do good work. :)

  • @JasperIsaLittleHorse we have our fingers crossed, she is up and walking, but can't trot yet, and has problems seeing. but time will tell, we haven't given up on her yet.

  • @SassyMustang1980 I like hearing stories like this. Well good for you guys! I hope she pulls through. :)

  • @JasperIsaLittleHorse he was on stall rest for an injury, going outside if he had an injury could only worsen the condition. did you even read the description?

  • *jumps in air* 'WHAT IS THIS MAGICAL SUBSTANCE I'M SEEING!"

  • Horse: omg omg grass lush muddy grass **rolls** must get dirty yes!! **rolls**

  • lmfao hes like grass grass omfg

  • that is actually adorable.

  • he wants to be turned out?... you mean let loose?

  • @T1G3RKN33 She means putting him out in a asture

  • @BoomerMyBaby

    do you mean pasture?

  • does it have colic?

  • @tara399 No he wouldn't be bouncing all over the place. xD

  • Beautiful Rescued Mustang! Wait Is he a mustang ? He look's like one has the Attitude and Has the rescued tattoo on his neck ! :) My sis. Used to have a bay mustang :)

  • @12LindseyRocks12 he's a standy they have freeze brand on their necks (:

  • @12LindseyRocks12 She said that he was a racer in the description so I believe that was his racing ID. Not sure though

  • @12LindseyRocks12 Hes a standardbred?

  • @12LindseyRocks12 He is a standardbred. Standardbreds have freeze brands on the right side of their necks, mustangs are branded on the left.

  • ;mm;m;

  • this was also the first time i have ever seen a horse do this so i thought it was quite funny but i didnt want him to hurt himself and i couldnt get him to stop that is why i jerked on him. if your curious ook at my channel there are lots of normal videos of this happy horse

  • @barrelracingqueen Do u know what kind of horse Paco is?

  • @barrelracingqueen As a horse owner for many years showing misbehavior in any horse as funny is unsafe. Sorry but this video is anything but funny. Scary would be more like it. Your safety and the well being of the horse were both in peril with what was happening.

  • the horse was at a race track with no turn out also the horse was on stall rest for a bowed tendon. the horse is healthy and healed now and is a riding horse.

  • @barrelracingqueen It's healthier for a horse with an injury to be allowed out of the stall to move when recovering. How long was he in there??

  • Poor horse

  • Lol! My dog does something like this when she sees a green lawn.

  • @SaleekJay lol record it :)

  • its like watching a dog after getting a bath....

  • lol

  • oh shut up you idiots..does this horse look in a bad condition? err..no:L

if he's training for the track, they're not often allowed grass. He seems so happy to see it bless him. He's in really good condition. If you'se don't know anything about horses..go home:L

  • i think you should look after your horse properly and dont let him get away with it he looks like an expensive horse

  • @celinelear evidently she does know how to look after her horse. it's a race horse, they don't normally get turned out. he wasn't being naughty at all - he was happy to see the grass again! besides, it's a video. you cannot tell how an owner looks after their horse from a video.

  • That is not normal behaviour - turn your horse out if he "wants to be turned out really bad"

I do showing with my Connemara - he is out all night in summer and in for about 3 hours during the day and in winter he goes out for a couple of hours during the day and is in all night (he is fully clipped though and we are in England - self explanatory really)

  • @hannahbananaroxsox This is a racehorse. Racehorses require different upkeep than regular riding horses. They do not get frequent turnout because of training requirements and the need to stay fit; too much grass can really pack on the pounds and if they're the kind that acts stupid outside they could hurt themselves.

  • @Syncraftable In the UK racehorses get turned out - to stay healthy and run well they need to have a healthy mind and turnout provides time to relax and a break from training. Often they are turned out by themselves or with a very docile companion to reduce the possibility of them going nuts. When the racing season is finished for the year, they get chucked out in the field until they need to be fittened up for the following season the next year

  • @hannahbananaroxsox Judging by the man's voice, this isn't in the UK. Here in the US, racehorses very rarely get turned out unless they are on a long, intended break.

  • @Syncraftable I know that. I'm just saying in the UK things are done differently and our horses are treated like horses rather than machines.

  • @Syncraftable cruel way to treat an animal. Who cares if its a "race horse" let them all have big pastures

  • @PanzerBlitz43 I didn't say it was 'right,' I just said that's how it is. The last thing a trainer wants is for their young racehorse to go batshit crazy in the paddock and break a leg, or let the horse gorge itself on grass and get too fat to race. I have a friend that trains standardbreds, she actually does let them have some turnout. Her $500k winner tore part of his nostril off on a water trough. He was out of training long enough to become out of shape, and at his age>>>

  • @PanzerBlitz43 ..at his age it was too difficult to get him competetively fit again, so he was retired.

These are valuable animals. They are a source of income for many. It's no good when they're not kept fit or sound.

  • i have never seen a horse that excited before lol

  • hes haveing fun butnher handleing skills are aweful

  • Yeah, that's a seizure.

  • i like how one person says the word seizure and every one is like OMG YOUR HORSE IS HAVING A SEIZURE GET HIM TO A VET OMG !!!!!

wow that shows u dont know anything about horses he had his ears back because he was overwhelmed with the utter excitement of grass people need to know that race horses dont get out on the grass much dering race season and when they do there like PRAISE THE LORD IV DIED AND GON TO HAVEN

  • Sorry but this behaviour is not normal with a horse id say see a vet and show them this video , and they might say he has a seizure , and this is really not funny !

  • @GobbyGabby1234 i agree i knew a horse that did that when i was at a camp and it made me cry because they had to put him down=,(

  • @BarrelRacerLover12 ino its very sad , it might just be doing that for fun but it doesnt look like it , The horse is very cute aswell

    <3

  • @TheSorpreasahorse you don't know much about horses then.

  • gorgeous horse but obviously this horse is irritated by something :\ ...

That is not normal behavior !!

  • I've seen this before, a clueless horse-owner not knowing their horse just had a seizure. NOT FUNNY! Very serious actually. Bitch.

  • @cornflakefilms101 Acctually her horse just seemed to be enjoying its self...

  • Boy, the comments are hilarious, aren't they! He sure looked like he was having a blast to me! Oh, and definitely going through turn-out withdrawal. Hope he got to go blasting around a paddock after his racing days were done! Talk about legs goin' every which way:)

  • if he was happy, his ears would not have been back most of the time. it looked to me likee he was a bit freaked out and had no control of himself, spelling seizure. have him medically checked out asap. meds can cause a horse to have seizures and they go away once the meds wear off. sometimes thats not the case.
