When I think back to '98 when I first met Snake and went with him all the way until his final mission I had learned so much from him and learnt the dangers of nuclear war and by MGS4's conclusion I knew my time with Snake was at an end and I'm not ashamed to say I cried for a long time.

Big Boss didn't "defeat" Snake. He HUGGED him. LAME

Big Boss was the greatest soldier of the 20th century. And he was only in his late 50s/early 60s when he fought Snake in OH/ZL. Surely he wouldn't let AGE be the deciding factor when going up against an unarmed kid that didn't have NEARLY as much experience, right?

Except... Snake defeated him both times.

Besides, I like Snake's story and character much more.

@Vextrocity actually you're wrong there too. The foxdie virus had nothing to do with it. to keep him from getting in the hands of the enemy they made a failsafe, basically written code in his dna. A planned change in his genetics. To make him only last a certain amount of years which is why the accelerated aging kicked in. Also why they eliminated his ability to reproduce as well

@MasterOfTheLight yes, i see your point. I found out that its actually just a result of the cloning process. The clones inhherently have genetic coding from birth which makes them age. Solidus was the one who got hit worse, then snake, and liquid had the least accelerated aging. I got confused because the foxdie is a genetic virus, and i mistook that as a reason for the aging. In fact, the mutated foxdie was what caused a scare that anyone who came in contact with it would die. sorry and thank u

Big boss tells snake to not waste what time he has left fighting in the credits.This means he retires but spends the rest of his life being old and accepting death .Naomi didnt discover in Act 2 that Snakes new strain of FoxDie would take over the old strain of FoxDie.But the new strain will affect snake eventually(if he can live another 9 years which we all know he wont.But solid Snake was the ultimate hero and no other gaming franchise affected my life more than metal gear solid!
