Elrooh, this is a very nice video. Can you tell me please, does the F1 in IRIAF service have roundels on the wings, or on the fuselage only? It looks to me like there are no markings on the wings, from the Iranian F1 in your video, unless they're on the wing undersurfaces.

I appreciate any help you can give me. I'm building a 1/48 scale model kit of the F1 in Iranian service, and I'm trying to finish it as accurately as possible.

1) Money back

2) delivery Mirage F1 CT or M2000

At last new, iraqi government is interessed, by Mirage F1 CT (upgraded RDY,2ASM) from french air force actually replaced by mirage 2000 or rafale and want the upgrade of 18 iraqi Mirage F1.

USA want give old F16, but jet maintenance is very expensive.

By the way, i worked on the undelivered F-1 BQ 4656. It rolled off the prod line in december 1990. It flown only 8h15mn. Today, the plane is at the CAEA Museum in Bordeaux. I can bring you for a visit.

That's was real tragedy

Our pilots been chased by the allies Jets during their way to Iran & the 1st wave been surprised by the Iranian F-4's firing A2A missiles on them!!

Many Iraqi Jets been crashed during their flight 2Iran.

The most of the pilots returned back 2Iraq, but there's some others been missed, specially some of our F-1's!!

Next question would be now that the Iraqi's are flying again (MI-17's) will they fly the F-1 again too?

Our pilots flew their F-1's from France 2Iraq, it's a long story..

And of course they've trained in France, also there was some French trainers in Iraq, test pilots..helping of training some other Iraqis in Iraq.

One day Saddam involved them to go in dogfight against some Iranian jets!

That day was tragedy 2the Iranian AF cause they had faced the French test pilots..lol!

It was very bad day 2the Iranian F-5's.

Unfortunatelly, we're not gonna fly the F-1 again, but..there's some good news about we're gonna have some RAFALEs in the next few years..these jets R very expensive, but in the same, they R the best.

Thanks for all the answers man, But the MI-17 is NEVER a bad Idea. It's the workhorse Helo of the world. only the UH-1 comes close in history. Of course the Helo I'd really like to see the Iraqis get again is the MI-24, and I think the poles are supposed to leave the ones they brought for the Iraqis when they leave.
