The Cosmos Rocks album was never going to be a Queen album of old, but it stands on it's own merit as a great ,Queen & Paul Rogers album with some brilliant tracks, and should be judged on that and not on Queen of the past. I've nearly worn mine out, and I love it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

when freddie died john sead that this is it not doing enymore and retired . i think the last things he did was the freddie trubet and the singl/albom with "only the good die young" on it . it sad, i would love him to keep on like the others but it what he whanted to do so . thats why he not in the set up ent more .

Yeah I am happy that Roger and Brian continue making music, as they are very talented in their own right, however I didn't like the Cosmos Rocks (very far from some of their best work IMHO) and think maybe blaming the record company is a bit cheeky. But hey, all credit to them for continuing with their work and not becoming simply (as I believe Roger himself put it) 'old, rich and useless'.

They did do a shocking job because they didn't support the tour well or promote the album well. There was in fact virtually no promotion for the Cosmos Rocks

Maybe the company didn't support the album because it was bad. The quality of the work speaks for itself. Queen's "best work" came before 1992. "Cosmos Rocks" isn't some of Queen's best work.

@Robotdrummerzzk Agreed, their album with Paul was head & shoulders above the other releases by Classic Rock bands that year, & they were blatantly disrespected by EMI, good riddance b/c they've (Queen has) left EMI for Universal.
