@elkawasakicaliente no, but if you're on asphault you never just use the kick stand or it will sink into to on a hot day and lay your bike down, you put a flat piece of steel down and put the kickstand on that. Same thing for this probably only wider

Cool idea.. For those who'd rather ride a dirt bike than a quad runner. I think I'd like this better than a regular sled personally, because I like to lean way into my turns and throttle out.. Sometimes that makes the sled want to roll, but if you could put that kind of a lean into a turn, your center of balance would be way easier to control. AWESOME IDEA FOR A SLED.

the reason a motorcycle is stable is because it has a front spinning tire. large rotational inertia creates a strong gyro effect which keeps it upright....even the pro's in the video have a hard time keeping it stable. i see no advantage to one ski.

I have had snowmobiles all my life and just purchased the 503 version last winter. This is an extreme sport and puts the thrill back into riding for me. To all you haters that are affraid to try one you can ride mine and I will attach another ski on the front so you have your training wheels still.

I have not seen one of these on the state trails in upper michigan i do not think they are popular and just imagine trying to ride it on ice/snow mix on the trails it would completly suck in corners this is an overall fail.

The biggest issue with this design is stability in fact.

If you hit hard packed snow or ice... you loose all ability to lean and/or turn.

At least with a snowmobile, you have added stability and won't fall over in similar conditions.

Its a nice idea, but not a very practical one imo.

@SchuyTV I agree with the just get a regular snowmobile part. As far as safety goes this thing compares to a dirt bike which is light and nimble. You don't hear about 25 deaths a year on the trails on dirt bikes. Snowmobiles are bulky, tippy and heavy. Thats why you do hear about a lot of deaths every year on the trails. because dumb asses start flying through the woods in uncharted territory thinking they are on a dirt bike and then they can't turn without hitting a tree.
