I watched this movie recently and thought it was a bit strange for this guy to make the claims he does about this film because the film sort of rationalizes the craziness going on (rape and murder) in Iraq by saying these men went deranged from stress and all the comments in the film about how "These guys took down the towers" were absurd because obviously Iraq had nothing to do with 911.
Some movies are built up with tremendous hype and then nobody goes to see them (Bonfire of the Vanities, Heaven's Gate, Ishtar). I wouldnt say Hollywood/Mainstream media is to blame for every film's success. People like those H movies, thats why people see them (word-of-mouth). I seriously doubt the media is conspiring against us to make us heroin addicts. And its debatable as to whether those movies you speak of actually even glamorize heroin use.

Its not the best documentary in the world but its quite interesting and covers some of the topics I've been making points about. I watched this movie recently and thought it was a bit strange for this guy to make the claims he does about this film because the film sort of rationalizes the craziness going on (rape and murder) in Iraq by saying these men went deranged from stress and all the comments in the film about how "These guys took down the towers" were absurd because obviously Iraq had nothing to do with 911.

Some movies are built up with tremendous hype and then nobody goes to see them (Bonfire of the Vanities, Heaven's Gate, Ishtar). I wouldnt say Hollywood/Mainstream media is to blame for every film's success. People like those H movies, thats why people see them (word-of-mouth). I seriously doubt the media is conspiring against us to make us heroin addicts. And its debatable as to whether those movies you speak of actually even glamorize heroin use.

No, I don't believe all of Hollywood wants us all to be Heroin addicts but there is lots of evidence/proof that the CIA has many ties to Hollywood and not to mention the CIA brings much of the Heroin, Cocaine and Marijuana into Canada and America, and if you don't believe that then I suggest you listen to some of the former CIA who admit to doing that. And weather or not they glamorize drugs is really irrelevant because there is no denying we are faced with drug use in the media constantly.

I understand the United States government is a significant part of the drug industry and makes huge profits. But Im not so sure about the opinion that because the CIA is linked to Hollywood in some way (which Im also not particularly sure about), Hollywood means to encourage drug use so as to boost sales. I think Hollywood is much more free from government interference than one would like to think; we must consider the amount of weepy anti-war fluff Hollywood is constantly churning out.

You should check out the documentary In Lies We Trust: The CIA, Hollywood & Bioterrorism. Its not the best documentary in the world but its quite interesting and covers some of the topics I've been making points about. Theres another Documentary that I highly recommend you watch called American Drug War: The Last White Hope, its done with a bigger budget and has amazing interviews with top CIA and other very interesting people. It appears on Show Time every other week because of its huge demand.

I know that there are a lot of smart people in the states...but there is big bunch of idiots who leads you in to a war that is build on lies...the only reasons why the USA is in IRAQ is oil = money...there is no doubt about it...in the 2nd golf war the us troops were only few kilometers away from bagdad...they could helped the kurds to get a free country by dispossing sadam...the usa promised the kurds to fight with them against saddam... but what did they done?

they done nothing...they went out of iraq a saddam hussein killed afterwards many of the kurds for planing a revolution....what i am trying to tell is that the us troops had their chance to dispossing saddam togehther with the kurds from the north of iraq....why didn`t they finished their job in 1991...there were no better time for it...because the us government put saddam in charge in iraq to have a partner against IRAN...

You might be right except. The kurds in north in 1988 where killed by WMDS. They could not plan the takeover. Do you understand why? And when the kurds try to raise and bring down saddam. actually it was more like 150 years and most societies and cultures have had some form of slavery. Again lets focus on the past 100 years when democracies really took root in the civilized world. 90% of americans have the best healthcare in the world, the death penalty is a point to debate not a one sided affair. If someone was trying to kill your child and you had to kill them to stop it what are you?
