@cooldude92498 Back around 1980, BOC came to town to do a show at a local big club. Afterwards, I was walking around and was shocked to see them by themselves at a big round, raised table sitting on bar stools. They all signed a record sleeve I had brought just in case. I still have it. Great band. Lots of songs but it was too bad radio only plays "The Reaper" which is not that great.
i would say that buck dharma is not underrated.... everyone knows he's great.... also a great singer and songwriter....and i love the swiss cheese guitar....
A super song.......They never played it live much.....Can't understand why though.....Some tunes don't play live well.....That's not the case here ........Is that Rudy Szarso ?
This is my favorite BOC song. I have never heard it on the radio. I have seen them five times in the last seven years and they never played it live. This is off my favorite BOC album, Mirrors. It came out in 1979 when i was a senior in high school. We rocked to this album at every party. So great.
Hi Les, after seeing that you checked out fremblings version of the Vigil I went looking for this version of the song, I think this is the best version of the song on YouTube. I also was a senior in highschool and also liked Mirrors very much. I didn't notice the Vigil on the album, but when I saw Buck play this live I was amazed and did some YT reasearch on this great song. I see that I had the first comment on this version of the song over a year ago. Thanks for your reply.
Great vid-Vigil is one of my fave BOC songs, with Buck's timeless guitar, the guy is a master.
Zero chance of the original lineup getting back together, just appreciate what is arguably the best lineup since then. The varied sets the band plays now are a pleasure to hear.
Hope the band gets back over to the UK next year-"Come to us"!!
Not bad, but... these guys have got to find a way to reunite the classic line up. It's just getting ridiculous, seeing all these kids (talented kids, but still!) playing alongside legends.
Buck is the best ever!!! and not even mentioned in the Rolling Stone top 100 guitar players.... Bullshit!!

Buck just mesmerizes. He just gets into that zone and always finds his way out of it.
