As an Australian who is a keen "watcher" of events in the US, i just have to say for the life of me what is this fascination people with Hilary Clinton?? To me its like a step backwards as does the prospects of John McCain. And what ryles me is how some Hilary supporters will vote McCain if Obama is elected and some democrats will still vote McCain..... these democrats should be hung drawn and quartered, why doesnt the party elect its own candidate? how much time and money would it save.

What about the farm bill? I heard Obama himself talking about how the US should be a leader in fighting poverty around the world. But the "food for education" program got cut from the farm bill. Does this mean that politicians talk big but only give money to people who vote? (and starving children in thrid world countries don't vote). Hillary or Obama could have helped those children--the program costs a mere $20. But neither politician cared enough to say anything. Sounds like politics as usual

With 63% reporting, Clinton is winning 54% to 46%, but the populous Lake County (including the large city of Gary), which is near Obama's home city of Chicago, IL, still has yet to report any results. So there is hope yet for a second victory tonight!
