As an Australian who is a keen "watcher" of events in the US, i just have to say for the life of me what is this fascination people with Hilary Clinton?? To me its like a step backwards as does the prospects of John McCain. And what ryles me is how some Hilary supporters will vote McCain if Obama is elected and some democrats will still vote McCain..... these democrats should be hung drawn and quartered, why doesnt the party elect its own candidate? how much time and money would it save.
the fact is that there isn't very many hillary supporters that will actually vote for McCain if Obama wins or visa vera. The people that say that are just so passionate about their candidate they can't see voting for the other. But come november ALL true democrats will vote for the democratic candidate.
Thank you North Carolina & Indiana we are fired up and ready to go straight to the convention, Clinton Supporters said that Obama and his supporters wouldn't make it to the General Election and we looked them in their eyes and said Yes We Can, We will unite, Hillary through mud, dirt, knives, soda bottles, bullets, punches, rocks, cars,Rev. Wright,Ayers, free gas, pots & pans, her whole damn kitchen even the dishes she stole from the White House and Obama still came out running not limping, way to go B.O
What about the farm bill? I heard Obama himself talking about how the US should be a leader in fighting poverty around the world. But the "food for education" program got cut from the farm bill. Does this mean that politicians talk big but only give money to people who vote? (and starving children in thrid world countries don't vote). Hillary or Obama could have helped those children--the program costs a mere $20. But neither politician cared enough to say anything. Sounds like politics as usual
Hillary says to the super delegates I can not beat Obama even with help of Bill and Chelsea. You beat him by your votes for me. I will beat McCain for you. The question is if you can not beat Obama yourselves, how do you think you can beat McCain? Perhaps with super delegates ?
Indiana was the last big state that was pro Hillary, now thats done and out, all the other states like West Virgina, North and South Dakota are ALL OBAMA! Nice try Hillary but Barack is about to sweep you dry.
West Virginia is not pro-Obama. Kentucky isn't either, nor is Puerto Rico. Clinton should win those (if she stays in the race) and Obama will win North Dakota, Oregon, and Montana.
Her campaign is clearly running out of money and she's not winning! If cant figure out, its time to QUIT, then she is a BAD politician! She is not worried with you either! Its ALL about BUSINESS to her! She needs to pay back the lobbists.......thats true! And if u elect her, then America is the DUMBEST nation in the world and u deserve all u get!
Yes!!!!!!! I knew he would get it here. We North Carolinians love this man!!!! I have not met anyone who didnt like him. Lot of us got mad when we saw people trying to smear his credibility over the Rev. Wright controversy. OBAMA!!! YES WE CAN!!!!
awsome i love him i wish i can vote and meet him im only 14 i know more stuff then half of the adults voting for hillary i love obama i would no have it any other way
He will bring America out of the darkness of Bush&Cheney and unite every one. We need Barack. He is the only one that can bring America back to the GLORY it once had.HE HAS TO WIN. NOT JUST FOR ME,NOT JUST FOR YOU OR EVEN JUST AMERICA.BUT EVERYONE IN THIS WORLD NEED HIM AS WE'RE ALL CITIZENS OF THIS PLANET. OBAMA'08 AND'12
You all want to see a brighter future for our country & you guys went with the person that can bring it to us! Thanks for not buying into the media's bullshit.
I'm really dissapointed with the outcome today. Why are we voting this phoney guy who relies on speeches and a certain constituency, with no substance to gain control of the most powerful office in the world. I'm a lifelong democrat but I'm voting McCain if he's the nominee. And I'm in a swing state.
"Phoney" guy? I for one am glad he is a change from the political games and politics that have shut us out in the past. Sen. Obama does not 'rely on speeches.' He brings about hope to the people he will serve when he becomes the president. I don't know about you Simonlee80, but if you don't want universal health care for every person in America or an honest president who does not represent lobbyists but us, then I don't know what's wrong with you.
We Are Fired Up And Ready To Go Straight To The Nomination (Obama You Are One In A Million) Thank You North Carolina And Indiana For Your Support We Love You!!!!!!!!!
Barack Obama's campaign always gets this info out to us at the speed of light.. If he can clean up Washington like he cleans up Clinton on the internet, it will be goody.
Yes we can! Sen. Obama is a man of great character and vision. Of course he is the winner! He is the only canidate who tells our country the truth! He doesn't come up with gas rebate promises just to get a vote. He does't threaten to totally obliterate another people, like Hillary did! He truly takes the high road!
Personally, I am thrilled that Obama was able to win N.C. by such a large margin. But the Indiana race was the more close one, and it certainly is close right now. With 63% reporting, Clinton is winning 54% to 46%, but the populous Lake County (including the large city of Gary), which is near Obama's home city of Chicago, IL, still has yet to report any results. So there is hope yet for a second victory tonight!
North Carolina chooses Obama! Wow, Obama continues to roll. Let's see, he has the most votes, most states won, and the most delegates. Would I call this race suspenseful? Well suspense implies an unknown outcome...that dosen't exist here, LOL.
