Okay, I want to rent The Fall really badly, but it's rated R. My mom will want to watch it with me, so is there any parts in it that I should be warned about? Besides the dying?

I am so happy to know that you watch with your mother. That's super great! You are so awesome for doing that. There is nothing visually horrible in this movie, but I have to say the plot is the part that might be hard for a young person to understand. I don't know your age, but w/out compromising the movie, I have to say he tries to commit suicide the whole time. But the little girl doesn't know. If she thinks you can understand that this is not cool in any way. Then go for it.

Well, there is no real way to say this w/o ruining the movie but yes, he does try to commit suicide the whole time, but only with the pills. I think from the shear fact that you are asking questions, means to me that you will be fine with the plot. It's not rated R for gore it's for subject matter. There is no sex, I don't remember if there is swearing. Just the plot of the movie is sad, and could be confusing to an immature audience, but I think you will be fine with it.
