Hunting through my family tree and found my mothers uncle was a Sterling Professor at Yale, anyone know of this guy around 1938 please contact me he helped design the library is name was Andrew Keogh.

Hi, I too have been searching my family tree and Andrew Keogh is a great great uncle of mine. He lived with his family in Newcastle upon Tyne until he was about 21, he emigrated to America in the early 1900s

I brag to everyone I know and say that I have a cousin who is going to Yale. I say that I go to the local community college outside of Yale, even though it is in North Carolina. you could look it up online, probably figure it out from theU or something I know they do tuitions. and no it doesn't necessarily mean it's cheaper, Loyola is pretty expensive and it's not even close to these schools but it's pretty good by my standards, you should look more into it if you're really interested.

the actual campus tour i took this past week completely changed my view of Yale. Now, i'm working towards Johns Hopkins, Yale, or Princeton. Harvard was a bit of a disappointment...

i went on the actual campus tour and the tour guide said that Yale is very open to students from all different backgrounds (that means ethnically too) and are open to students from abroad.

I'm not sure if you're still trying to apply to yale, but don't let the fact that you're an international student get in the way. there are tons of international students at yale. and there's all kinds of financial aid available. it's all a matter of paperwork and the need demonstrated by income.

Law is not a a major at Yale. You can earn a JD (Juris Doctor) in the Law School, but that is a professional degree for which you can apply only after having earned an undergraduate degree (in any field).
