@XxKawaiiPlushxX haha, I hope that was a joke, this a a dye process. I heard there are also magic beans for sale too, they claim it will grow big enough to climb into the clouds.
I dont think its genetic, I think It has something to do with the way they water them. You can take a white rose an stick it in a vase with food coloring in the water and it will turn that color. Soo .. its probably not that hard to do.
@SamuriKitten69 they split the stem of the rose into different parts and soak them in the dyes for a number of hours. splitting the stem is what making the petals come out different colours.
Wow, 735 for one rainbow rose is very reasonable price. While in the corner of Ginza 4 chome (kousaten) florist, one for 1.250 yen!! I want 3 dozens of those rainbow roses for my BD, though ...
ya they were genetically modified. they are called happy roses i guess. i cant remember who makes them but ya they have some special process that makes it so the dye goes into the veins of the flower to turn it that color. its a serect i guess guarded by the company. but i know for awhile you could only buy it from their website. they are very pretty i wish they sold them here in the states :(

If you raise white roses and feed them colored water you can change the color of the white roses.
