There's a monopoly now, that's the point. 94% of health insurance in the US is not competitive according to the AMA. Them and baseball are the only 2 groups that have exemptions from anti-trust laws.

The AARP's endorsement is like CAIR's endorsement. Their membership has declined dramatically during this debate. I vote in NJ, and if my Congressman or Senator votes yes on any Bill that includes any kind of "Public Option"...consider that vote your resignation, because I will do whatever I can to get you voted out of office.

Here are 2 steps that can be taken that would reduce the cost of Insurance and Healthcare:

1) Allow people to buy health insurance out of state.

2) Tort reform.
