THAT'S FUCKIN COOL! My friend just got me readin the books a month ago, very very VERY nicely done! I had to mark out for the Saint of Killers personally. I just hope this up comming TV show is done the right way. I heard Sam Jackson wants to be the saint... I dunno about that!

The latest Wizard magazine has an article about who they would cast, they wanted the dude from Prison Break (the guy who is chasing them) to be the saint, i like that

Dream no more my friend. Your dream is a reality as HBO is in the process of developing a Preacher television series.

Mark Steven Johnson(Director of Daredevil and Ghost Rider) provided a treatment to them, demanded that it follow the comics exactly, and that it will be releases sometime in 2008 or 2009. I'll find the info for you.
