Very nice device. I would throw the reward from the dogs blindside. IMHO , THERE IS A BIG DIFFERENCE in many dogs that know that the reward comes from the source (making them stare) and a dog that constantly looks up at the handler. Many old school trained guys disagree with with me but I've trained my K9 in both systems and incorporating the stare has worked best for my partner by far. The BEST WAY to start a Smart dog falsing is for him to know the reward comes from daddy.

Very cool and refreshing to see this work being done with positive reinforcement. I love the eye contact the dog maintains.

Question: when the dog goes to the field for a real find and the BSD is not present. How do you deal with that missing element?

The other 3 are odor only hand delivery.
