It lacks the proper pomp and ceremony and the king plus his chief nobles marching through a narrow street is a bit too much; in his fancy Chimes at Midnight movie Monsieur Orson Welles was able to conduct this key scene much more properly; a mistake like this must not happen as it can do great harm to the whole performance; though the divine poetry of Shakespeare does prevent any serious harm anyway.
