i'm pretty sure you can't compare the two. i agree that daft punk is better (personal opinion), but Deadmau5 is trance/house and daft is not. Daft invented the glitchy/grungy/ dirty style that has been adopted by bands such as Justice. Mau5 is on top in the electro house genre.
