I am a predominantly danish a good 72% with some norwegian and you have no idea how much this hits home for me wait wtf am i saying of course you do! vikings were civilized all on their own I'm sick of folks speculating about them, I'm glad these people are still important in scandinavia as it should be, forever. also which was the music you used for this, no rush

Ya, Novgorod was built by Rurik, a Swedish Viking. Kiev in Ukraine was originally a small Slavic village, but the Vikings turned it into a real town.

I am a desendent of the Vikings from a small island on the coast of Estonia. The name of the island is Ormsö in Swedish and Vormsi in Estonian. I am searching for information about the Vikings that was the first to settle there. All I know is that his name was "Orm" originaly from norway but came to the island via Icesland.
