I contacted the musician who is credited as performing the piece in the beginning and during Ratha and Thakkur's conversation in this clip, but he never got back to me. I was wondering if he'd made a single instrumental that was partially used throughout the ep, and if he had it available.
You know, I was wondering how they were going to present Bonechewer in this rendition! Hah, poor Bonechewer didn't get his 15 minutes of fame... I can totally see why though!
Yeah, well they aren't gonna go into the boinking, are they? And I was just checking the last couple vids to see in the comments how close this was to the book, and it doesn't look like something I'll be watching. ;)
But then, I'm a notorious hater of movie/tv show adaptations of books I like.
Well, the "boinking" was only implied in the book; and they didn't need that here, since Ratha's offspring only became significant when Newt came back, and they were just adapting the first book.
Not particularly graphic. It was a description that went on for around a half a page, went through the motions, and ended it fairly quickly; it was pretty accurate, too. Without being, eh, GRAPHIC graphic.
And telling you that one of them came back isn't really a spoiler; the title of the third book is "Ratha and Thistle-Chaser," so it's hardly a big surprise.

Good adaption for little kids. But they just barely stuck to the story. She never fell in love with Bonechewer and that was the best part. =(

It was actually pretty graphic.
And as to that second comment; thanks. (It's so hard to convey sarcasm on the internet.) I've only read the first book.
