I remember them from Convention Hall in Gadsden. Did they write On the Outside Looking In? They were a very good band I thought. Anyone ever go see the Tams at the Porto Armory in B'ham? Those were fun times, you could actually do a "burn out" without going to jail! Ha!
Very nice video. Yes they were a great unique band. I was friends with Larry Sivley in high school and watch the the band practice for the "sock hops". It was quite fun. I saw them perform a few times but I moved to Mobile AL after high school and lost track of them until a few years ago and caught one of their last shows in Rainbow City. To bad they couldn't get back together they had a unique blusy british sound. Rick
The Bleus were a relly good band in the late 60s from Gadsden, AL. Lead singer was Tony Lumpkin, a good singer and great guy. I had some classes with Tony at Gadsden State. Think he became an architect. Brings back old memories. Thanks!
Anyone remember "Milk and Honey" by them? It was also on Amy records. 1970.
