  • How come the audio doesn't sound live as soon as the music starts? It just sounds like you hear the crowd and as soon as the band starts playing it changes and throughout the video you don't hear the crowd, I've watched plenty of live band videos to notice the sound of a voice as it carries through a microphone into a venue and I gotta be honest this sounds recorded :/ Its like it comes back to live right at the end....

  • It is absolutely live. I'm the guitar player and I do the live and studio mixing. The show was recorded on 10 tracks onto a DAW. I post-processed the tracks with stereo echo (only had a mono echo at the venue), and mastered the mix to add harmonic distortion and loudness maximizing. The crowd is loud because I turned it up on the mix and then turned it down during the song.

Compare the studio version (the other music video of "Take Me There")....there is a big difference.

  • YES! I have FINALLY found out who performed this song.

I saw your music video playing during the previews for the Star Trek movie in Fresno. I wrote down some lyrics into my cell, Google it later, and get 1 result by someone named Ron Longo, who I assume wrote the lyrics.

An hour of hard research later, I finally stumble upon Midori & Audioclique's site. Yes, this is video I saw! =D

I really love the style & sound of the group, but you really need to make yourselves easier to find online. :P

  • Small suggestion.. both you folks and Ron should post to the usual lyrics sites. Then we moviegoers can find ya a lot sooner.

Or maybe there was some band/song-name credits in the last 5 seconds at the theaters, and I being so hypnotized by music, completely missed it. That would be my fault.

But seriously, please consider putting up some song lyrics online. Not only to find you, but so we fans can sing along.

And keep up the good music! I love a good spirited artist. Thanks for listening. =)
