  • Give me this ensemble!!

  • i like this.

  • cool...I think I saw this some time ago, but I can comment again..awesome

  • @AMOKIAN Thanks!!!

  • this is good music:)

i also create some glitch stuff.

visit it and pls and comment.:)

    thanks

  • that sounded awful.

  • kos omak

  • Not a huge glitch fan, but GODDAMN nice ENS there bro. I've tried to dive deeper into Reaktor, but the most I ever did was a simple pulsewave synth with a lot of expression.

    Respect!

  • Thanks!!!

  • Thats brutal, thanks for the download!

  • nice realy cool sounds :) reaktor rocks!!!

  • im lost for words

    i really am.........

  • Idiot

  • do you need reaktor to do this shit?

  • @milano1919 no but its hard to do it this well without having alot of kit ..or reaktor

  • Very intricate ensemble there mate. oblitteraa is right, sounds just like circuit bending!!!! Wicked!

  • fuck me! look at that reaktor patch hahah

  • very cool. sounds much like circuit bending.

  • This rules. Hard.

  • So, what are we listening to here? That is, is it a sample or a plain, standard square/etc. wave?

Pretty cool patch, though I think I'd only use it as a source of creating drums--that is, sampling the lows and highs as kicks/snares/etc, I doubt it's really suitable for recording tracks as-is unless you're working on a purely experimental scale (I.E. Merzbow, etc)

  • - i could totally etch that into some killer psytrance !

  • bro, can i get that patch!? O.O

  • dude, that just sounds like Mr Alias by Piz. All DC offset, nothing special

  • @jswigga2 i have Mr Alias no its not even close

  • hi :) thats sick... im new to reaktor... how????

i can manage to make like normal synth sounds but i just cant figure out how to make those glitchy sound!! your help would be GREATLY apreciated! thanks!

  • Is that how you made some of the DLC's?

  • Yes, and I've made some further mods to this ensemble so that I'm getting a better variety of sounds now.

  • Reaktor is...difficult

  • Yes, and so much potential.

  • it's easier than max/MSP

  • Really? I've never messed with Max. But, I'm afraid that if I got a copy, I'd end up never leaving the house again. It's bad enough with just Reaktor :-)

  • well, it's more difficult to learn, but it's more flexible, and, yes, you'd never leave the house. It feels like making your own software, with no strings attached. Albeit it's not as slick looking as Reaktor

  • I guess the "no strings attached" is the fact that the Max/MSP creations can run on any machine with the free "Run" software? Where you have to have Reaktor to run a Reaktor instrument. That's my only complaint w/Reaktor.

    :-(

  • Comment removed

  • thats not really true... max/msp has a great operation manual inc. good (!) tutorials.

  • agreed. i didn't have much time to learn a lot with max/msp before my demo expired, but the tutorials and manual were amazingly helpful.

  • I love your circuit bent synth you posted on your site a couple of years ago, still use it today :)

  • Thanks! Telling me you're still using my synth after all this time just made my day!

    :-)

  • Dude, I accidently removed your message, when I meant to reply. Sorry

    RE: zlapidus

Wow. Very expressive instrument! At the moment I'm trying to make an instrument similar to this in SuperCollider and would love to hear about some of the techniques you are using to generate some of these sounds!

  • OK, I haven't messed with SuperCollider so I can't do a direct comparison. But, I did use a shitload of LFO's to modulate just about every parameter of everything. And I used multiple LFOs on the same parameter so that there would be less repetition.

  • you could probably learn an instrument in the time it took you to become this big of a noise nerd

  • Probably right. But I started playing guitar in 1983. I still play that instrument. I just look at noise as being another expression of music.

But, I think "noise nerd" is a compliment so, Thank you!

  • man , i have reaktor and i have no fuking idea how it works

  • I've had Reaktor for over 3 years and I figure that I know about 3% of what the program can do....

  • ive been using reaktor since version 3 and I still dont know as much as i know it can do. to learn everything u have to have no job and no life. just reaktor.

  • Just think of all that potential. We could spend our whole lives mastering this one piece of software. And it wouldn't be a wasted life!

  • well since u put it that way u r right

  • I love the 12" powerbook, The best design ever.

  • Amen!

  • lol , thats true.

Like ae using max/msp,they have no life,no friends nothing.....

  • wonderfullll!!!!!!

  • Sounds GREAT!!!!

  • Thanks, more to come!

  • the sound at 0:40 is cool.
