This was even more special than the Habs and Flyers runs in 2010.

The crowd is a highlight reel in itself, I am proud to be an Oilers fan to this day no matter how well or not so well we do we still bring that passion and cheer to every game where ever we are knowing our title as champions is not so lost as people may think because this run shows how champions play so my hats off to you Oilers and the fans that still remain. The crowd is a highlight reel in itself, I am proud to be an Oilers fan to this day no matter how well or not so well we do we still bring that passion and cheer to every game where ever we are knowing our title as champions is not so lost as people may think because this run shows how champions play so my hats off to you Oilers and the fans that still remain. I will guarentee the Edmonton Oilers will make the playoffs one year after finishing dead last in the league. Players like Hemsky, Penner a 30 goal scorer, Taylor Hall/Tyler Seguin (both with rookie of the year potential), Jordan Eberle one of the greatest players in World Junior history, Svennson and Whitney those are all players who have huge pontential. Not to mention a healthy Khabibulin and Souray possibly returning I swear to god Oiler fans like myself could be in for a great year!

@The2g1cunleashed No this is still a very young team. They will hit all the same bumps along the way as every other team do that rebuild. In 2 to 3 years we should be a contender. Next year I suspect we will get another high pick. Souray is so overrated, we can't even give him away. And we need to shed Horcoff and his inflated contract. He will be a thorn in our side until we get ride of him. I predict 13th in the west and a top 5 pick.

Heatly wanted out, Spezza wants out, Alfredsson and Kovalev are over the hill, so is Gonchar and he is over payed to boot. Own the league?
