I have just gotten into Descent myself and am currently running a campaign using the RtL expansion. I am also painting my players' figures and am finding them to be as "fun" as you seem to think. I have finished one and am hoping to finish up the last three by this weekend for our next game. Good luck with yours and have fun!

Maybe some cool new Reaper mini's
could replace those fems...
They still make the classic D&D size stuff....But I don't know if they are still too big:)
