  • nice tutorial. but im missing a lot KEY STROKES. im pretty sure , even i dont know a thing about eagle, that it supports keys to access the most importabt tools and functions. isnt it ? just like the moviing and delete tool or the grouping. aint there a "quicker way" to select, group and delete by using keys?

  • ? I double-click on a part, but nothing happens. OK does nothing (so it seems). Help!

  • hi,

maybe I am late for that but I realy need to know something, I downloaded eagle 5.11.0 pro, and evrything is working the key is ok, BUT... my library is empty completly, not even 1 component is there, so how I get the list of the component, or how I can find where to download one???

    thank you.

  • When I click ADD, it opens up an empty window, why mine is empty and yours is full of libraries?

  • @essedra Watch lesson 12.

  • @essedra Close the ADD window and open it again.

  • Help!!

No library it opened and nothing in it is it because it is free version or I have to upload it somehow I am using mac help please it is for my senior design project

  • hmmmmmm I dont think that you now much about eagle because you forget many things!!!!! lg V3

  • nice job. I have a question, can you copy for example o part of a circuit diagram from a project and paste into another project ? thanx in advance

  • @pufarinu Yes, you can use the group tool to highlight what you want to copy. They click the cut tool, right click on the highlighted area and choose "cut all". Then open up the new project and use the paste tool, to paste in the cut section. I hate that they use the word "cut" for copying and this is one of the quirks of Eagle. As a native Windows user, most would assume this meant to actually cut that part from the schematic, leaving a void, but it actually copies.

  • @rpcelectronics It works . Thank you very very much. I tried with copy tool but never worked .:) in many situations i made a part of a circuit diagram from zero, when i had it allready done in another project. Now thanks to you i will never lose my time with that.

    All my respect, Tibi

  • OMG A COMPASITER.... i know what this is O_O i'm happy

  • @22IceEye Capacitor, not compasiter.

  • i'm only 14 and have no idea what thease parts are but my job i want is as a hardware engineer SO i will watch this series anyway!!

  • @22IceEye Im 13 ! I wanna be an engineer too bro!

  • @neutroninvention That's great! With that ambition, I am sure you will achieve what you would like to.

  • @rpcelectronics thanks :D

  • @neutroninvention it gets even better as i am 11 and i know all the basics (transistors, capasitors, resistors, diodes, LEDs, etc.) and i am going to be an engineer too!

  • @jukkula9 I'm jealous. I'm going to school for this stuff and it's hard enough -_-. Good luck!

  • @jukkula9 thats great ! :D

  • @22IceEye Great to hear! Keep at it! I wish that I had went to electrical engineering school. I know that not having my EE has made things more difficult for me in the job market.

  • @rpcelectronics hello friend a question you have these tutorials in Spanish or me you can give an address where I can see all these lessons in Spanish I would appreciate it muc

  • Hi,there I would like to know how to draw my own custom parts, like IC ,but it's so hard I'm using the demo right now and am in need of your help ASAP.Nothing is helping,I have tried reading the manual and all sort of things, but I really like this program ...Please Help Schematicsman

  • Sir Jason thank you very much for this great and wonderful tutorial you posted here, it really helps newbies like me to fabricate our own pcb's. I thought i would never learn to use pcb software tools like this one because i tried others already but it was too complicated for me, especially without a video tutorial like yours. Again thank you very much, your one of the best things that happen on Youtube :)

  • thank you so much!

  • Thank a lot for this videos.......

  • hi, does anyone knows how to bring back a library that i "droped"? i went on "rcl" and hit "drope" button..now it's gone and i wonna bring it back again :)

  • Go to main Eagle window, klick right mouse button in 'Library', next clock "Use all".

  • *click*

  • Thanks for the tutorials Jason.

The simplest way to get the mouse to let go of the part is to hit 'escape'.

    Thanks again. Phil

  • Thanks for the tutorials!
