  • Wow, that is awful news indeed. I'm in the same boat as BrainElixir...having greatly enjoyed Grandia I and II, and having III on my shelf virtually unplayed.

  • i said when he dies I go with him.......

  • Sad news indeed. This and the music however has made we want to start playing Grandia 2 from the beginning.

  • That is such a shame...I really love this game though, and the music in it is just excellent...best way for us to honour him is to continue loving this great RPG classic!

  • Recent news occurred that the Grandia creator, Takeshi Miyaji, has suddenly passed away at the age of 45. Details on his death are currently unknown, but nontheless, such a shame this happened. Though later Grandia games from Game Arts are subpar, Grandia II is just excellent. One of my favorite RPGs, and got me thinking about the music from this again.

  • @Zapper101 That's terrible news....God rest his soul. I'll make an effort to get a Dreamcast along with Grandia 2 someday.

  • @Zapper101 That's horrible... I have Grandia III sitting in my room on a shelf and I've yet to play it. Maybe I'll fire it up in memory of him. The original Grandia was amazing and so was Grandia II, actually one of my favorite games on Dreamcast, possibly one of my favorite RPG's of all time. I hope if there is a life after death that he's living it up.
