I'm sorry, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince might be a good movie, but for true, obsessive, die-hard fans of the book like myself it was very hard to watch. @Remorselesslymine, Draco is not at all as 2D as Yates decides to potray him. That's what they did wrong with this movie. No backstories to the characters.
A vital aspect to this book was the past of Voldemort, and how he is not the black and white villian, he has a dark family past, neglect, betrayal and revenge filled desire WHICH THEY DIDNT EVEN PUT IN!
Draco is not stereotypical. Not in the slightest.

HIs parents made wrong decisions for him and found himself in a terrible way. He was forced into it by Voldemort in fear of the death of himself and his family, as revenge and punishment for Lucius' failure to capture Harry.
@kateclaudia Draco was portrayed as a cowardly, spiteful, arrogant git. That's as good as being a villain, perhaps even worse for most villains at least get some dignity.
@Remorselesslymine: Yes of course Draco was spiteful and arrogant. But a villain? I disagree. People change, as Draco did. He was an enemy at the start - he wanted the glory, but realised he was in too deep. He changed in DH, he saved Harry, Ron and Hermione in "Malfoy Manor" - not betraying their identities to the Death Eaters, that is not a cowardly act. If he was just plain evil I don't think Draco would have done that.
Draco's not a typical villain - things are never that black & white.

The scene where Hermione hits Harry with a rolled up paper would be funnier if everytime it was shown, the object became heavier and more lethal.
First a paper, than maybe a wiffle bat, then a wooden cane, then a rebar with some concrete on it, then the but of a rifle, then a kitana, then a pole-axe.
She could find all of these objects in the room of requierment and keep them in her magic bag with notes for what order in which the objects are to be used.
tell me why they held up the movie for 8 months and still not have the fight scene included, why have malfoy work so hard on the cabnet, that made it pointless if it was not going to be put into the movie...movie was good but that was one of the most important parts to clue you in for movie 7(the ending altogether)....not understanding why the director got so lazy at the end when he was doing such a good job...he could of cut out some of those love scenes since he didnt do it right anyways...

What you do is you go to your local cinema and buy a ticket. If you can't be bothered doing that then just wait four or five months for the DVD to be released.

no. it's STRICTLY based ONLY on book 6th, with MINOR little references of DEATHLY HALLOWS near the end(basically getting audiences ready for year 7).

bec dumbledore asked him to do so..he was dying anyway..that's why he asked snape to do the deed instead of draco..plus he had the unbreakable vow.

i watched the movie harry potter 5 is a movie for people who want move informtaion on harry im not trying to embarass harry potters movies but i almost fell asleep cause the only fighting there was, was when harry did a spell on snape and snape reflected it. so if you see the movie it really depends on how you really want to view the videos is

What you do is you go to your local cinema and buy a ticket. If you can't be bothered doing that then just wait four or five months for the DVD to be released.
