Often you can't decide if you sing live or not. This decision is often made of the producers of the show/concert. As we all know tarja is a singer who really loves to sing i mean come on she's a trained singer... I mean Nightwish (with tarja) did also playback appearances at some shows ... because there is no other way! so stop that discussion
Well she certainly has a VOICE. Everyone expected Nightwish to die without her and that won't happen. And Tarja...she couldn't even sing live for her fans. That is so sad.
Oh Tarja... she is damn good, but why doesn't she sing live anymore?? Only fucking playback shows since she left Nightwish... you don't have to be an expert to hear it, just listen to the CD record and then to this video... nobody sings live so perfect :-(
And: Tarja isn't very well at speaking/singing English... she need a good cleanup, listen to a Nightwish show, where she sings true live.

she did playback during a tv show...with 'Leaving You For Me'...because she had to do playback...not cuz she wanted too...those were the 'rulez'...maybe she had to do playback now as well...who knows??? :P

Some TV shows you have to for some reason or another, but it doesn't lessen the disappointment of seeing a good singer (or band) miming their performance at all.
majomanak I am sorry to say that but tarja has a great voice and i've started to love nightwish because i've heard her great voice on the radio.

This is lipsync, because in live shows her accent shows a bit, and now it doesn't, not even a bit. Plus, it sounds just as on the CD.

Hurray for lip syncing (not). My faith in Tarja apart from my beloved Nightwish has died. Not die alive, just outright died.
She may have one of the most beautiful voices I have ever heard but this is shameful.
