Nice kicking but why are your hands down? This is why I absolutely hate olympic taekwondo useless! Traditional Taekwondo practitioner of 22yrs i promise you you will lose every time. point blank and simple and yes i have done Olympic TKD also and i am very fast hands and feet there is a reason taekwondo is called the way of the hand and foot. not the art of just foot.
@TheMrtommywalker nobody asked your opinion. she's doing tkd. ever figured she might not be the kind of idiot who gets INTO 'real combat' in the first place? maybe she just wants to get fit? do the sport? if you learnt any martial arts yourself, you'd know that martial arts are about learning to get out of 'real combat' situations, or not getting into them in the first place.
@TheMrtommywalker another thing, no amount of martial arts training will prepare you for 'real combat,' if it ever gets down to it. i'm guessing you've never been in a fight, but if you have, bottles, groin kicks, and knives come into play. if you feel as if you should give ANY advice, it is that she should train parkour, and adrenaline control, so that she can run away more efficiently. so take your conceited head out of your arse please. she's just showing her tkd skill, and it's brilliant.
nice on that spinning one though turn your leg over more im sure you know though and after class yeah i know you kinda fall apart eventually anyways good shit keep it up show us what you can really do too!
go to mixed martial arts class those kicks wouldn't hurt my 5 year old. Sorry i just think its a waste to be taught bad habits. You are good on your feet though
you have great triples!!! keep those up fo sho! try to keep you're arms quiet while do em... it'll keep u from getting kicked on the side =) hope this helps... WTF TKD for the win
TKD is pure kicks..fancy high kicks wont help u in a real fight...believe me, when it comes 2 a real fight u cant jzt show ur leg nd they run off...stop training TKD nd do a mix of Ju Jitsu, boxing and Kung Fu...but if ur trainer is a fat guy u can jzt leave, then its prolly a fake studio..like a McDojo...
those high up fancy kicks in tkd wont help you in a street fight cause everyone knows knock outs don't matter in self defense, instead do a minimal contact dancing based art like kung fu take it from me im a pro
there r a few martial arts(self defence) that REALLY works, its Street Fighting, Jiu Jitsu, Sinanju, Kung Fu and some of the Tai Chi moves XD
Karate worekd b4, but theres 2 many Karate clubs now, and in Karate etc theres rules: dont use nails, teeths etc, but in a real fight theres no rules, so id recommend to go to a training-place where there r few rules, the best way to train is to get used to get beat up XD.
It depends. I took Tae Kwon Do. I love it, but it's more of a sport type of martial art, but sometimes you will be taught moves for real life situations. In the style I studied in, there were forms and setups where we used knees, pressure holds and hair pulling. I guess it all depend son the style. Don't use these things in sparring but use them in real life situations I suppose.
useful in a controlled environment ie a gym/competition... but absolute useless in real life self defence. id just walk in with a chain of close range punches and ... well game over for u my love!!
Ok, first a punch can be just as powerful if not more so then a kick through physics. Second, to criticize TKD for just using kicks is no different then criticizing boxing for just using hands. They're both sports focusing on one aspect of combat. Long range vs Middle Range weapons. Looks good for competitive TKD point sparring.
that was awesome. great speed, combos, and fake outs. that is the best i have seen on here. and your movement to the side i can see that you use the side-step effectively. great job but i guess you already knew that.
yea you can kick fast, but not much power, and you (like most TKD sparrers) keep your hands down, how much harder is it to just keep them up? really? cause in a real fight you would just get hit in the face
dude it is sports TKD. and a kick is nartually stronger than a punch so it doesnt matter if it light, it will still do damage. low hands means quicker upperbody movement as in a Bob and Weave. i take TKD so i should know. dont appy YOUR martial art knowage to a art you dont know. trust me, it is effective.
shes pretty fast and has strong balance. her foot work is solid making her one gal u dont want to get mad. and unless uv trained your legs and/or hit them against furniture 4 ur entire life, those kicks are really gonna hurt.
@JOCOL11 this is honestly the most liked comment?

hands need to be up, but very nice cut kicks, and you forgot to pivot on all the kicks

Excellent kicks. Nice speed and good accuracy. It is difficult to throw kicks in combination and still keep your hands up.
You always have to sacrifice something. Keep practicing...you are awesome :)

if its moves that really works its aiight, but TKD has become weaker by the years.
Many Tae Kwon Dont clubs got these big fat McDonald trainers.

@TKDFighterJoe The fact you called Kung Fu a dancing based art totally discredits anything that would make you a "pro".
