I'm 16 and this is the first time I'm hearing this song, and it brought tears to my eyes. I know this will be one of my favourite songs of all time. I'm 16 and this is the first time I'm hearing this song, and it brought tears to my eyes. I know this will be one of my favourite songs of all time. I lost my mom to lung cancer when I was 22 and she was 43. I remember hearing this song and damn near driving off the road after her funeral. We never truly understand how important parents are until we lose them. I'm now 36 and I still miss my mama. We can be 2 years old, we can be 90... no matter what, it hurts immensely
