  • im sure that was a vauxhall nova on the way out. on the right (the second car)

  • Nope 88 Escort - was gas then. Now is All electric

  • If I was to do that, I would pick a smaller car like a Fiesta or metro. It should go faster. It's hard to belive that one cylinder even moves that good. I guess its all about the gearing.

  • Dude! Thats cool :))

So how did you interface the engine to the drive train and do you still have power breaks and steering???

  • I took the center spline from the clutch disc and welded it to a 1 inch shaft. then fed the shaft through a plate that is bolted to the bell housing and also holds a pillow block bearing. I added a go-kart sprocket to the shaft and the rest was just aligning up the torque converter from the engine. There is no power steering or power brakes but the car is so light it needs neither now. Thanks for your comment.

  • if you hooked up a compressed air tank as the power source, you would be totally non polluting. well done!

  • That is awesome, great work!!

Keep us posted. Really can't wait to hear more about this project.

  • Ckick on the more info button and my blog site is in there. Much more information and a new 13 hp project starting.

  • Is that for real? if it is can you make a video showing details please? I'd consider butchering a metro for in town use.

  • Very cool! That bad boy should be able to run on nothing but HHO pretty easily. 40 mpg in city driving is awfully nice. Imagine what that'd be on no fossil fuel at all...

  • Awesome - Well Done. R U related to McGyver :)Running on 100% HHO is within your reach. For now, Acetone & Xylene will boost your performance and mileage. So will Naphthalene (old fashioned Mothballs). 50 to 60 miles or more would not supprise me. I have seen Naphthalene increase mileage as much as 96%. Are you using a Sytrifical Clutch adapted to your trany? Are RPMs needed for more speed or is the drive train gearing the problem?
