I played 'Can I Have a Ride?' for my brother and then followed it up with this song. He could not believe that they were from the same album, sung by the same vocalist. Bob is f***ing amazing! I wish he'd release more material.
"it draws lines on our skin and feeds on our strength". bob just describes the feeling of getting old, as "time" passes by. certainly, bob can rant, but he can also write meaningful lyrics.
Wow, i think that if they did more mainstream stuff like this, they would have been a lot more popular. Bob actually has a good voice, and this song showcases it.
This and "Can I Have a Ride" are my favorite Deli Creeps songs. Pinchface still plays with Buckethead but whatever happened to Maximum Bob? I wish they would all go on tour again.
According to Wikipedia, Bob became a Trucker. O.o He was on an episode of Trick my Trucker.
If you want the most recent Maximum Bob vocals along side Buckethead, I'd say either "The Hand" from Enter the Chicken, or "Worship" from Praxis' "Profanation: Preperation for a coming Darkness."
Deli Creeps live again would kick major ass though...
