these are invertebrates. abalones scarcely have brains, not much above the sea cucumber or the jelly fish, which lack brains altogether. killing plants is cruel too, since scientists recently found out they secrete endorphins when injured, whihc means they may "feel." you just ran out of dietary options mate.
