  • I wanna see Thai Republic........

  • @ubolratkaree รู้ได้ไง?

  • @ubolratkaree

  • I am thai. but i love red shirt so much

sorry for my bad english , because i m thai

  • tyrants dictatorshit : don't worry redshirts, stay calm, not wating so long :)

  • "get all the idiots on your side and you can take over the world." but thaksin still seems to be struggling.

you have an uncanny habit of talking about that which you have no clue. in america, the red shirt riot wouldn't have lasted 4 days. do some research. there would've been massive casualties - merciless killing. don't even get me started on the "land of the free".

  • ...but all that aside. i'm still curious...where are you from and where do you live? come on. why are you hiding? care to meet up? get a little face time? respond to these last questions, or don't respond at all. any deviation thereof only proves one thing: you don't have a clue as to what you're talking about. i wouldn't presume to know what's truly going on in russia or somalia unless i lived there and experienced it first hand. have you? it's time to put up or shut up.

  • @defiantwon33 By asking where I live instead of focussing on the falseness of your arguments, you remind me of the local bully who said to the person exposing him..."Shut up or else, I'll beat you up". In this globalised world, you can take me as youtube viewer who is exposing you to be a person, maybe a Thai elite, who has a vested interest in promoting the illegal Abhisit government and no desire whatsoever for the truth to be told.

  • again i ask: where do you live and where are you from? i'll continue when you answer the question.

  • @defiantwon33 Why do you need to know? You should be focussing on the injustice done to the rural and urban poor of Thailand who had their democratic rights to elect a goevrnment of their choice, snatched from them as well as 90 of their comrades killed in the process. I live just next to you....on youtube : - )

  • where do you live and where are you from?

  • @defiantwon33 Ha ha ha !. Peace be withyou and do not let the question of where I live and where I am from, drive you nuts and deprive you of your sleep. What is sufficient for you to know is that in this life we live, we should always side with and fight for truth, regardless of whoever is involved. I leave you with this saying from the bible...." Buy the truth and sell it not, also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding." Proverbs 23:23.

  • i thought you'd run away. don't worry about me, i'm sleeping quite well. in case you're curious, my reasons for asking where you live and where you're from are quite obvious. you, yourself, are conscious of said question's implications, which is why you refused to answer: you are well aware that the answer proves you have absolutely no just cause spouting on about what's going on over here. you're ignorant to the actual facts behind this place, just as you are in your remarks about the usa.

  • furthermore, keep your "truth" to yourself: anyone - thaksin or even you - that says they possess the truth, is doing nothing but selling a bunch of bullshit. that goes for your bible too. have a nice life dude.

  • @defiantwon33 If you, as a human being is not for universal truth, then are you not admitting to your self-serving interpretation of the recent killings in Thailand? It is people like you, going all out to protect your selfish interests at the expense of robbing the poor & the oppressed of their democratic rights, and to the extent of condoning the killing of innocent unarmed civilians, that is the bane to Thailand's march for a true democracy.

  • self serving propaganda? lol. spoken like a good little sheep. bleat for me, little lamb, cause your words, which are laden with self serving propaganda - void of any knowledge of facts save for what you heard on the news - don't make any sense. you have no clue of what you speak. you said earlier that there were 100,000 red shirts in bangkok. wrong. try 10 - 20,000 max. they estimated that there would be 100,000 but that number was never realized. that's only the icing.

  • ...just a small example of what you don't know. there are others. things that you wouldn't know unless you were here. that's why i know you're neither thai nor do you live here. believe me when i say that i am with you in the struggle for injustice and fair treatment of the lower class - a class i am a member of. yes that's right. i'm not a member of the elite. i'm not rich. i'm an english teacher.

  • but what you fail to realize is that the red shirts were being used by thaksin to get abbhisit out of office so that he could get someone friendly in office so that he could get his money back that he stole from the thai people. look at the timeline: in february, the courts rule in favor of thaksin's accounts and assets being frozen. not more than a week later, the red shirts start their rally.

  • the money in question was a sizable 50 billion baht that he acquired while in office as prime minister. this is illegal. yeah sure he threw a few crumbs to the poor people to keep them happy, but they were crumbs none the less. it's a shame the way the poor are treated over here. there are a lot of poor people. but there are also a lot of lazy people that don't want to work, and most of them were whom you saw at the rallies.

  • they showed up to receive a salary in exchange for supporting thaksin. 500 baht a day is a lot of money and they were there to collect. you also talk a lot about these 90 people and how the government is responsible for their deaths. the red shirts are too. perhaps the attacks on silom by the red shirts shooting rpg's (rocket powered grenades) skipped your radar. it didn't skip mine. i live a stone's throw from silom. you see....i know what was going on. you don't. that's my point.

  • my girlfriend lives near one of the bangkok banks that was attacked with grenades by the red shirts. a man was arrested on viphavadee rangsit while transporting grenades and weapons to the red shirts during a standoff between red shirts and government troops. if you know about this why then do you persist in saying that the red shirts were engaging in a non violent protest? they weren't, but then, of course, you just don't know. you don't live here. you get your info from youtube.

  • so what about this selective information and propaganda you're talking about. on youtube they show videos of red shirts getting paid for attending the rally; there are videos of the man that i mentioned earlier transporting the grenades and weapons; there are videos of protestors with handguns tucked in their pants. how selective is your propaganda.

  • regardless of what you say and think, your absence and ignorance of what's going on here is viable. i don't claim to know everything, but i know a lot more than you for the simple fact that i'm right here.....and you're not. there are no universal truths in this situation. i do believe that thailand is in need of a great change. a change that voting cannot remedy. but not at the hands of the red shirts; and definitely not with the most corrupt politician in thai history at the helm.

  • you speak of 90 people that were killed during the red shirt rallies? what about the the 2,500 people that were extrajudicially assassinated during thaksin's war on drugs, most of whom had drugs planted in their pockets during nightime roadside searches, forced to sign a document that proclaimed their guilt, and then never saw the light of another day. that's thaksin for you, buddy. he's no nelson mandella.

  • @defiantwon33 You claim " the red shirts are used by Thaksin to get Abhisit out of office" Please don't put the horse before the cart in rationalizing your prejudice. In the first place, the Abhisit government is an illegally established government, which came into power through the illegal yellow shirts' demonstrations, and you are trying to justify their existence?

  • well, this is where being here comes into play. i wasn't getting my information 3rd hand, i rode by both rally sites on my way to work. perhaps you should recheck reuters and abc - Australia Broadcast Co., right? - and you'll see that what was actually said: the anticipated headcount is approx. 100,000. that number never showed. there were an estimated 10,000 at the democracy monument site, and another 10,000 were at ratchaphrasong.

  • ...that was until they consolidated forces at ratchaprasong - which was a mistake. actually the mistake was they never should've split up. they would've maintained much more power had they been a single unit throughout. then of course, it was all over once seh daeng was assassinated. the red shirt army didn't know what to do then so they tried to burn the city, running scared, looting. i've got some great photos of central world on fire that were taken from my balcony.

  • seh daeng's assassination was a perfectly executed checkmate, in the midst of all the numerous past blunders like announcing on the news that the police were about to surround the plush hotel - owned by thaksin - that the red shirt leaders were staying in enabling all the leaders to make a daringly dramatic escape; or when police officers were being taken prisoner without resisting....it was really nerve-racking.

  • it almost got to the point where i no longer cared about the outcome so long as it was over. i've got kids, and with red shirts driving around on motorcycles and shooting machine guns and throwing grenades in public places this shit was getting to be a bit too much.

  • that was my experience and take on the situation. you can disrespect if you like, but i experienced it first hand; you're just a broken record. if you ever make your way to the Kok, look me up. i'll show you around. until then. i'm out.

  • @defiantwon33 I have no doubt whatsoever you experienced the turmoil that you described but whatever it is, you can never run away from the fact that the Abhisit government first staged an illegal coup d'etat on a democratically elected government. They now have blood on their hands for the deaths of 90 innocent people who were fighting for their rights. The rest of the resulting turmoil originated from their illegal action.

  • @defiantwon33 Not only are you a person with a prejudiced view of the red shirts rally, you are also a person of dubious integrity. Instead of verifying whether what I have said is correct, you come out with your own figures of 10-20,000. Go read the original ABC and reuter's report online where it stated the actual turnout was 100,000. It doesn't matter whether you live there because the figures you quote have zero credibility.

  • @defiantwon33 So because Thaksin is suspected of corruption and extra-judicial assasination of drug dealers, you support the creation of anarchy to overthrow a properly elected government ? You believe it is OK that the yellow shirts by-pass the Thai judiciary, break the laws of the country, create chaos to depose their elected government. You've a poor grasp of what is democracy.

  • @defiantwon33 You are naive to think that the red shirts would just lie down and let themselves be slaughtered by the army, who came out on them with guns & live ammunition. They just wanted a new election to be held as soon as possible to re-exercise their democratic rights that were stolen from them & 90 of them died just because of Abhisit's evil greed to cling onto illegal power.

  • @defiantwon33 If anyone doesn't have a clue of the turnout, it is yourself. On the first day of the red shirts' rally and demonstration, ABC news and Reuters reported the turnout to be an estimated 100,000 people. Go research your facts before you comment & make a fool out of yourself. Now, isn't it your self-serving propaganda for you to be saying it is only 10 -20,000 people ?

  • @defiantwon33 Why should I run away & why should I subscribe to your idea that I need a cause, other than speaking out for the poor & oppressed, to comment on what is going on in Thailand? Who is ignorant of the facts but yourself, who is very apt at selective interpretation and memory of the recent political power grab & killings in Thailand? It is high time you learn personal & intellectual honesty instead of self-serving propaganda.

  • @defiantwon33 You are talking bullshit because in America, the yellow shirts would have first been arrested and charged for illegal demonstrations and crippling the airport operations. The red shirts wouldn't have to demonstrate because law and order would have prevailed earlier and had the yellow shirts thrown into prison. Since 1932, Thailand has had 18 coup d'etat by lawless politicians & the Abhisit government is one of them.

  • do you know why thaksin is a fugitive? do you know how thaksin abused his power while in government? hell, do you even know how to get to ratchaphrasong? have you ever been there? have you ever seen it with your own eyes, or do you simply get all of your info from the BBC? because you're still avoiding that damn question....lol.

  • i'll make it easy for you and answer for you: no you're not thai. and no you don't live in thailand. you've probably visited once or twice, but you have absolutely no clue what's going on here.

  • as for me, i am an american who's been living here for 10 years. i arrived in country a couple of months before your beloved thaksin came into office. i lived here through his "war on drugs", during his massacre on the muslims in the south all the while he was stealing a fortune from his people. yeah dude. he's a stand up guy. i can see why you'd like him.

  • thaksin never had to fear an unfair trial had he returned to thailand. the only thing he had to fear was the truth. he is guilty of the charges that stand against him. that is why he won't return. and furthermore, you accuse me of being closed minded and ignorant, but you've failed countlessly to read what i've written and glean its meaning. all you've been doing throughout this whole discussion is copy the bullshit you've heard on the western news. but you really haven't got a clue.

  • @defiantwon33 You are naive as a child to think that Thaksin will get a fair deal from the very people who stole the rightly elected government from him. You might as well try to get justice from the mafia. If he is guilty of the accusations thrown at him, then let him be charged with proof in the Thai court, which is an independent power of democracy. You are the real bull shit for ignoring the facts reported by the media.

  • @defiantwon33 If you are truly an American as you claimed to be, then you are a real disgrace to your country because America is well known to be country which advocates justice, freedom, democracy and rule of law. You, on the other hand, condone illegal & unconstituitional means such as the yellow shirts demonstrations & the breaking of civil law to bring down a legally elected government....(continue)

  • @defiantwon33 You also condone the killing of unarmed innocents fighting for their democratic rights probably because they were a nuisance & a big inconvenience to your daily lifestyle, your business and the district you were living in. Well, lest you forget, you're just an American living in Thailand, and your inconvenience means absolutely nothing in their fight for their democratic rights. If you don't like it, then leave the country.

  • Thailand moso society. Can talk, can speak up, but won't work. Government only know how to act as if, but not really care for people.

I love my king, but I do not like ones that take king names just to open thier ways doing self-fish business. Sad that rich people do not want Thailand to be change.... sad for all poor people.. their voice semms to mean nothing.. cause they not know how to act tricky smart as rich ones who most have the power in country.

  • Thai love Thai

  • Thai king and illegal goverment burn down democracy of Thailand in front of Thai people eyes without election. And using "less majesty law " To shut up Thai people mouth and put them in jail. This behavior is a crime and against human right.

  • @herenful so i hope you're not trying to say that thaksin supports human rights, cause if you are then you are extremely short-sighted.

  • People who gathered a lot of sacrifice, I used to feel a hot day and really seemed very accepting of our brothers red shirts. Who is actually willing sacrifice for the public.

  • They are bad !!

  • Schön dass man die Auftargskiller gleich sehen kann, in ihrer Uniform.

  • you whike egg woll wit' dat?

  • They killed the manifestation for justice with US weapon, that why US gourvernment wasn't reacted !

  • So we can keep neutrality yet, but if usa will more pranks, russia possibly will make something bad too for western countries, don't forget even about little episode of cold war is "Cuban missile crisis" we removed that rockets because american president words persuaded us, otherwise usa are been blew up all over country long time ago.

  • quite recently they pretty easily banged up whole Kyrgyzian political system lol, and world gotta thanx russia what we are have such a strong army what no-one never won us (except mongolians 800 years ago) We won Hitler , Napoleon , USA never could invide soldiers on ussr and russia (its nonsence) becaouse our powerful army

  • Why didn't the army clear the airports in Decmber 2008?

  • @fullerdav, Good question. And why didn't they use " live bullets" on the yellow shirts ? Simple explaination. Because the army leaders support and has always supported the elite of Thai society against the poor people of Thailand.

  • @opsvideo2008 yes,different treatements between red shirts(poor) and yellow shirts(offiicers,middle class,Intelligentsia)had caused resentment,unfair to red shirts。

  • @Emory1949, Current Thai PM Abhisit was never elected by the people. He came into power through the yellow shirts' demonstration, not through election. Because he wanted to cling onto power as the PM of Thailand, more than 70 over Thais had to sacrifice their lives for the fight for democracy. The blood of these slain people is now on his hands. The middle-class income people has also joined the elites (rich & super rich).

  • @opsvideo2008 you're ignorant. if 5 people rob a bank, and get shot by the police in the process, did they die because the police shot them or because they robbed the bank? i think you're understanding of "cause and effect" is in need of some adjustment.

  • @defiantwon33, Using your analogy of robbers, who are the real robbers of Thai society? They are none other than the yellow shirts, the middle class & elite of Thai society, who have conveniently set aside the democratic process in order to suppress the poor from coming up in society. After succesfully grabbing power by killing 90 peasants, the government now talks of national reconciliation. What a joke!

  • @opsvideo2008 i don't agree with the yellow shirts either, so i hope you weren't attempting to invoke any emotion by attacking polarity. i live in thailand and am fully aware of how corrupt the government is. however, if you're going to rant about change then let's move forward toward real and positive change; putting thaksin back into power is not moving forward.

  • @defiantwon33 You have already shown your ignorance & prejudice by trying to justify the killing of the 90 demonstrators by the unlawfully established Abhisit government and closing a blind eye to the fact that the government elected by the people was overthrown. Who is talking about putting Thaksin in power? It is all about upholding democracy by respecting the government elected by the people.

  • ignorance and prejudice? you mean towards 10,000 pawns in a game of chess they didn't even know they were playing? you're calling ME out as ignorant when you don't even know what you're supporting? hahahahaha! you're pretty fucking funny, man! thaksin has you convinced that the red shirt rallies were about democracy, and stopping corruption - and you talk about "great hypocricies"? the words "thaksin" and "stop corruption" are hypocricies themselves when used in the same sentence.

  • thaksin lost power, because he no longer deserved it. the chinese call this "heaven's mandate". i prefer to call it a stupid motherfucker with a whole hell-of-a lot of money and no formidible plan, lest we forget that castro landed on the beaches of cuba with 80 men, were dropped down to approximately 20 within 2 days, but then took to the mountains, recruited and conquered cuba. oh and yeah, castro actually was there, too. he wasn't broadcasting from around the world while his people died.

  • but that is the price of revolution, my ignorant friend. if you stand up to fight don't start crying when you get fought - you fight. and you don't show up to a gun battle with nothing but your dick in your hand. that's 3rd grade knowledge right there. you're still in kindegarten.

  • @defiantwon33 You have shown your true colors by bringing up the subject of Fidel Castro who was a communist and has never subscribed to the ideals of a free democratic society which Thailand claims to be.Your communist leanings tells you it is OK to grab power by undemocratic means and abusing power by misusing the military to kill unarmed innocents as long as it illegally keeps you in power as the PM.

  • @defiantwon33 Since you subscribed to the ideology of grabbing political power by means of a gun, you do not belong nor do you fit into Thai society because it is a democracy. You ought to be staying in a state in South America or even Cuba, where the political environment is more akin to your ideology.

  • @defiantwon33 If Thaksin lost favour with the Thai society, the only right & acceptable way to remove him is through the next elections where it is the whole of Thai society that decides and not just the minority elite, rich and super rich of Thai society. Thaksin has never lost the favour of the Thai rural people and urban poor because a hundred thousand red shirts turned up in Bangkok to support him.

  • @defiantwon33 You are ignorant if you think the turmoil in Thai society began with the red shirt's demonstrations. You are prejudiced when you shut your two eyes on the illegal & undemocratic power grab by the yellow shirts & subsequent illegal appointment of Abhisit as PM. Hypocrisy of the highest order is when you use the yellow shirts & military to put yourself in power & then you tell them to butt out of politics.

  • @opsvideo2008 YOU are ignorant if you think that the power grab by the yellow shirts did not spawn from Thaksin's corruption, Human Rights violations, abuse of power thievery and greed. and yet you go on preaching on your little soap box about "democracy" and the "democratic way", but do you even listen to the pretentious drivel that spews from your mouth? what the hell were the red shirts trying to do last year AND this year? they were trying to take back control of the government.

  • by elections? no. they were under the assumption that all they had to do was occupy a couple of areas in the city, cause a nuissance with their marches and bloodletting, instigate/provocate fights, etc. But they just couldn't figure out why the government wouldn't cower to their wishes.

  • let's consider:

    1. there WERE people that were riding around throwing grenades in high profile areas causing harm. these people WERE aligned with the red shirts. they WERE mainly targeting Bangkok Bank branches, as well as a Lotus, which WAS a verbal target on the red shirt stage. these attacks had been initiated WELL before the troops attempted to remove the red shirts from the phan fa bridge area.

  • ...These attacks grew more frequent and DID pose a very serious threat to innocent people seeking life, liberty & happiness.

    2. the red shirts were completely unwavering. you say that i'm a communist and would be more suitable to a life in south america as opposed to Thailand since Thailand is a democratic country. i'm sure that my admission alone would be an act of futility, but i tell you that i am not a proponent of violence, however i do view it as a means to a justifiable end......

  • when the situation demands it - perhaps like the red shirts' situation demanded. don't be naive, vid., the red shirts were fighting!! the government tried to open communications with the red shirts, democratically, and yet the red shirts, as you might expect a communist to do, refused to negotiate. "you must meet our demands by this time." they had a very seriously stict agenda that allowed for no compensation. an agenda that they didn't wish to divulge so they shrouded everything.....

  • ....they said into Doublespeak and loud, nonsensical, emotional rants (but rarely did they speak from a rational point of view). when they realized that their inability to achieve their goals by bloodletting and being a general nuissance were futile they "upped" the game:

  • "....people must see clearly the futility of maintaining the fight for social goals within the framework of civil debate. when the forces of oppression come to maintain themselves in power against established law, peace is considered already broken."

    -Ernesto Che Guevara-

i am not a communist nor do i support castro. but there are things to be learned everywhere - and only if you open your eyes to what IS.

  • by the way, are you avoiding my question about where you live and where you're from? why, i wonder.......

  • @defiantwon33 If the Abhisit government was never the truly elected government of Thai society & came into being only through a power grab, where in the first place is their moral high ground to refuse the demand of the red shirts that a re-election be held immediately to determine the true government of the people? You are advocating the guilty by supporting a government which was illegal in the first place.

  • actually, ops, the abbhisit government came into power through a parliamentary vote, which is the standard procedure for the given circumstances in thailand. you just don't know what the hell you're talking about, do you?

  • furthermore, i couldn't agree more about thaksin standing trial. just one thing - where the hell is he? oh yeah, that's right. he's a fugitive. he refuses to return. i wonder why. stil not answering that other question though now are you? lol. that's ok. i'll wait.

  • @defiantwon33 You are the idiot who thinks Thaksin will be able to get a fair trial by the current illegal Thai government which overthrown his constituitionally elected government. Stop being evil serve your own self interests, with no regard whatsoever for fair play. I will not be surprised if you are one of the Thai elites & super rich who wants the poor of Thailand to be downtrodden to meet your selfish needs.

  • @defiantwon33 The trouble with you is that you are shortsighted, you only want to see what you want to see. That means you are prejudiced and intellectually dishonest with yourself. Before Abhisit was elected PM by a parlimentary vote, who was the real government of Thailand ? And what happened to them? They were unlawfully overthrown by the yellow shirts through their demonstration. Stop being myopic.

  • @defiantwon33 You say the Abhisit became PM through a parlimentary vote "given the circumstances" in Thailand. The world knows better & is telling you the Abhisit government created the unrest of yellow shirts demonstration so that it can come into power through a power grab using the military & through a parlimentary vote, rather than calling for a new election for the Thai people to vote in the government of their choice.

  • @defiantwon33 If Thaksin is guilty of the charges he is accused of, then let the democratic process take it's course; let the Thai judiciary system unearth the evidence and charge him in court. By being opportunistic and grabbing power through illegal demonstrations, the yellow shirts, elite & super rich of Thai society have shown that they are no better than the lowly criminals of Thai society.

  • @defiantwon33 Let me tell you another joke from the current Thai government. After grabbing power from the properly elected government through the use of its illegal yellow shirts demonstrators ( misusing the loyalty to its king) & the military, PM Abhisit is now saying the monarchy and military should stay out of Thai politics. It is hypocrisy of the highest level, which is essentially saying " first put me in power, then stay out of politics."

  • @opsvideo2008 like i said, dude, i live in thailand. i know what's going on. but do you? really?

  • curious, where are you from and where do you live?

  • พี่แมค สะกดผิดเยอะเลยใจเย็นๆครับ

  • Taksin said today to the press that 'I'm not the leader of the RED SHIRT 'whahahah they did for the motherfucker

  • where is human rights group?they were deaf and blind!!!.They ignored what happened in thailand!!!!only care what could benift them!

  • the king of Thailand is not fair to the red shirts protests which against the yellow shirts. These two organizations were all anti-government.Why this time the army suppressed the red shirts differs from the yellow shirts VS Thaksin government, they just required a election

  • @Emory1949 The king wasn't involved but PREM did fool dont know the truth dont say bullshit he

  • That local war has sponsored by usa, dead ppl is american and western responsibility

  • @lletah It's true . And than if is not save in thailand the American will start a war in thailand like irak . They said than in thailand is not save and than all USA soldier will be in thailand soon

  • @marx369 Its have option of invasion of americans soldiers in thailand, but for now I think they changed mind about it, because america are gambling too long and starting forget about human lifes

  • LIAR!

The red shirts only thing they have in common is the color red. Instead of saying stupidities learn what communism is.

  • The red shirt protesters are paid and brainwashed by Thaksin and Communists to become the human shield and go against the gov.

For the issue of Rich vs Poor, needless to say, it's always how the communists start the revolution.

  • Please lend a helping hand to the poor

Otherwise this problem is not resolved

  • I hope the situation there will get better soon.

  • this is actually the struggling of power in the military area, nobody will win here...Thailand is tarnished with a small group of violence lover...as for the "real" Thais ..we stay in our place and wait for peace...'cos we're the "real" peacful people...the land of smile not the land of cries!

  • Long live red shirts protests!!

  • @Hkata816 IN THAILAND WE SAY LONG LIVE THE KNG, DUDE!

  • the poor has been victimised for yrs by all govt in thailand under taksin theres tak bai krue sei mosque n esan alleged drug traffickers massacres, they were all "compensated" to shut them up but the offcers involv were not brought to justice, sound social intergration policy were not implemented, money was used to bring the reds here mayb abisit should used taksins consficated biilions to pay them to go home n pay taksins victims too n used it to cleanup bkk! that will turn this fight on its head

  • Anyone bringing their kids to this demonstration should go to jail for putting them in harms way. This is democracy? You have got to be kidding me! Peaceful protest, surely you jest! The demands of the UDD leadership are non-ending. They want this, they want that. Who the hell told them that this is the way democracy works? Go to vote in the elections.

  • @231786111 you talk of democracy but what about the PPP that one the election in 2007 and was then ousted by a conservative judiciary? There is a mandate for social welfare reform which is opposed tooth and nail by the privaliged elite.

  • @BVargas78 sorry 'won' the election was meant to say (a bit late here)

  • @BVargas78, I couldn't agree with you more. This is truly a battle between th poor and the rich in Thai society. When the yellow shirts overthrow Thaksin's government a few years ago, they swarmed and occupied the Bangkok airport but did the Thai army use "live bullets" on them? The answer is no because the Thai army supports the elite of Thailand who has a stranglehold on the Thai economy, at the expense of the poor.

  • @opsvideo2008 No it's not about poor or rich man come on. That is what the press said and it's not true. THE TRUTH IS : that the young male that start the fight againt the soldier are young man form ISAAN that have nothing to do and wanna get money buy taksin.

  • @marx369, You are wrong because what the Red shirts only want is democracy, to be able to elect the leader they choose to lead the country. They elected Thaksin but he was brought down in a coup by the elite & military. Later in another election, their party won again but the yellow shirt demonstrators representing the elite and military once again undemocratically stole power from them, and had Abihist become current PM.
