im not saying this cause im a marvel guy,(dc blows, save for superman, batman and green lanturn) but superman has never done it for me on the big screen. could be poor writing, could be trying to pander to too large an audience, but for what ever reason his movies wind up as dry and boring as the fantastic 4. The problem with making a good superman movie is that he is just too damn powerful. Most writers cannot make a compelling superman story and they end up either creating a throwaway character or going back to lame-o Lex.
