@zulariffadzilah it is directx,you have to have the latest updated one to even start any newer versions of pcsx2.You can download it from the microsofts website or just google it.

@rust8infinite It's probably not the fault of your graphics card. Console games have very different coding from PC games, and emulators try to play translator between your computer and the game.

This translation process makes the bulk of additional computing time. Well that and the games were never optimized to make full use of PC resources. I can play Crysis just fine, but Pokemon B/W's cities can be a pain. It's funny like that.

Saw a video of a guy using pcsx2 at 40fps on a Celereon "R" that was at 2.0ghz, 504 ram. He's lucky, i have a faster pc than him... can't seem how to use pcsx2 so i'm watching this. If it helps i'll like, if not.. i won't dislike but i will just delete pscx2

@DonBaldy for emulators below 50-60fps is not quite playable.Anyway try it and if it has low fps,try lowering the resolution in the graphic plugin.

@sora6645 Go to run and type dxdiag.Then go to the display tab,there you can see what is your graphic card.And if it is intel,then you can only play at 30-40 or below mostly.

Sorry man, none of this stuff works, my problem is its either too fast, or its too slow. What is it with this emulator that makes it so friggin soddy to configure? @ahsan295 your processor is not good and 1gb ram is very low.Anyway use my settings and then go to gs window->in frameskipping->set "frames to skip" to 2 or 3 and "frames to draw" to 5.

yes it's weired in my case, having an i3 core with decent ati external Graph. card

for me unchecking the native made a big difference.

So, guys u can experiment with the resolution numbers

till u find what suits best with nice speed....

For me BTW, I didn't enable the frame skipping

and worked fine.. since frame skipping can cause problems...
