In the Vietnam expansion pack, while riding in a Huey (not manning a machine gun), can you drop AT mines from the air and they not explode when hitting the ground? If they don't explode from the fall, that would be a quick way to litter the map with random AT mines.

@Deathz0r94 You only lead a target in BC2 when you are about 400+ feet away. In COD, the maps are barely 500 feet wide, which is why there is no need for the gravity effect. But that also makes sniping in COD suck balls.

That said about the width of maps, Infinity Ward could have went the extra mile to make the game somewhat a challenge so that you could go "Ohhhh, thats why I didn't hit him when I aimed straight at his head while he was running"

I knew the "Unmanned Vehicle/Land Mine" myth was possible. One of my favorite tactics is to leave mines at Enemy Vehicle Respawn Points. When they respawn, the mines detonate, giving my team that much more time without the headache of a tank or worse a helicopter.

@miikkael100 They don't drop fast because they are heavy. The mass of the object, and so its weight, has no effect on the speed of the bullet. You can prove this because the GPE of the bullet is converted to Kinetic Energy (Ek) as it falls. GPE = mass x gravitational field strength (g) x height, and Ek = (1/2)mass x velocity ^2.

So if Ek = GPE, (1/2)mv^2 = mgh

There is mass on both sides of the equation so they cancel to

(1/2)v^2 = gh. So the speed as which it falls depends on g and height.

I'm not realy convinced that ammo- and medicboxes can swim. Not what from what I could see in the video. Maby you should give them some more time, and then maby, they would begin to swim happy around :D (you never know)
