thanks for the video, its making me want to trade in my boss rc-20 xl. with the echoplex, is there a way to separate the tracks. for example, you record two loops that are in 9/4, then two loops that are in 6 or whatever. can you mute the two top tracks together, then bring them back later? also what does the echoplex have for inputs (1/4 inch,XLR)? thanks again for the video, the its birds song sounds rad! you guys playing vancouver anytime soon? take it easy
could u make a video showing how you set up the parameters for your echoplex because the manual is so confusing and your obviously very well versed with the unit.thanks for this video as .dude your style is awsome it would be killer to jam condiserding battles and king crimson are two huge bands for you and me. i do a lot of two hand tapping as well. if you could make a video on how to configure the parameters on your echoplex it would be epic for me.

i could, but it might be a while, since i have to record the audio and video at the same time but on sep machines. tupid digi cam dosnt have a mic at all, ugh. it might not be for a while, but i can tell you i literally only changed two paramters i think. the first 3 knobs are set to 12 o clock, the feedback one is all the way up, and then i changed insert so that it reverses the loop, mute so it stops the mute and when i hit again would start over from beginning.
cool, i have my stutter function on my next loop button on my footswitch. what else can you get the mute button to do other than mute? and how do i make the mute button able to start the loop over? I know this thing does a lot and i really want to get into being able to shred this thing apart! thanks bro, i dig your playing.
@jagboy93 hey dude, i just used my camera to record video, and tracked through mackie tracktion and a firepod on my imac. then synced them in imovie. this is my new profile name by the way, i stopped using that one a while back
i haven't tried the 2880, but i think both would be good for multi instruments, also depends on an amp to play through. my bandmaster is supersweet and has enough headroom for any way i'd use it. the echoplex is great because even just for looping, it's extremely easy to use. i think the 2880 kind of looks like you have o designate the loops, so it might be not as easy as hitting a button with your foot and moving on
yep, there's a reverse function. you have to go through some setting changes, but it's easy, so i have it to set to one of the buttons on the footswitch. i dont think it has reverse delay, but i haven't exactly explored the delay features because it's so intimidating
i'm trying to decide between the ehx 2880 and the echoplex. i'm looping with multiple instruments, and the 2880 seems like it has more features i could work with.
any reasons why you think i should go with the echoplex over the 2880?
that loop sounds like 6/8 to me...

in the manual it talks about the modes of the mutes you can do, and i think it explains that one kind stops the loop and will start it over again.
