If you don't use a wrestling technique to score an out-of-bounds point, you should be cautioned and 1 for fleeing the hold. Joe felt that when he was ran off the mat, there wasn't a lift or a shot.. He was just ran from the center to out of bounds. According to a strict interpretation of the rules, Heskett was right. However, using common sense, Murtazaliev got to that position by using great technique, and the pushout was the finish. Good match either way.

Heskett was complaining that Murtazaliev pushed him out without a technique. According to the FILA rules, you can score a point by taking someone out of bounds as long as you are using a wrestling technique to do so.. Such as a single leg, front headlock, double leg, etc.. It was made to prevent people from turning a wrestling match into a sumo match.
