that happened with me too i struck out hunter pence with carlos zambrano for the last out and zambrano leadoff the next inning he still had his mitt and hat on and he was batting like hunter pence btw i hit a home run with big-z that at bat

It just randomly does that. Sometimes it brings the guy to the plate with a hat and glove on. Haha.

No, it's exhibition mode. It's just at a spring training park. I think it helps your chances of having this happening if you have a created player at Catcher... It's happened a couple times to me now. I don't think it has happened with a real MLB player yet.
