Hey, i did this solo for solo and ensemble. just watch your dynamics man. And your tempo was everywhere haha(not to be a dick). and watch the thumb on your left hand, it was coming off of the stick haha.
Nice job. This solo was meant to be played with the tap strokes to be as low as possible and the accents to be as high as possible. Also your grace notes were way to high :)
Your all over the place dude, control control control, watch your speed too. Everything else seems fine. This was my jury piece on snare a few years ago.
Hey man, it sounds good. as someone pointed out, it is pronounced CORE. the biggest things you would want to work on would be your grip, your tempo, and cleaning up the double strokes. and watch the stick heights on flams and right after accents. but it does sound real good
not bad man... the earlier you start getting control and working on technique... the better of a percusionist you can become cant run before you can walk.. right?
i just got assigned this solo, i have the paper infront of me right now, how long did it take you to master this solo?

practising on a pad is ok but you should play it an a snare drum when you make a video

@IAmANap You should try PRACTICING your spelling! If you are going to insult someone.....please use correct spelling.
ilikepancakes13 1 year ago
@ilikepancakes13 well it shouldn't be an insult more an advice because that peace sounds so lovely on a snare drum
ok i made some very nice mistakes in that message but on the internet usually nobody cares ;)

Hm, cool, i'm doing this solo for solo ensemble in a few weeks.
you seem to have the rhythm down quite well
you're just dragging and rushing in a few places
and your heights and technique could be adjusted
other than that, it's pretty good
