I would lower the stance to work the legs, as well as strengthen the core, especially with the twists. Also, must recommend to use Dit Da Jao before and after this drill. good stuff.
@jd9547 The first one is Called "Kat Sao", the second hit "Sam Sao" and the third is called "Sing Sao".
I call them Kat Sam Sing to go fast. Also the more strength you put the less you feel with these blocks. It's an excellent way to get strong forearms.
@JKDisback another question... is it normal for your arms to feel like they're going to "break"? lol and would you recommend doing it as hard as possible? or as fast as possible? or both?
@jd9547 Yes very normal if you do it correctly you cant do this more than 1 minute without wanting to cry lol. I suggest keeping a good rhythm and hitting as hard as you can without purposely wanting to hurt your partner.
Forearm strengthening = wrist curls with a dumbell or barbell.
This exercise = how to kill forearm nerves

I think it's high time for me to learn REAL martial arts, as opposed to the stuff I see in video games. Your videos are very helpful, thanks!

@TonyMon16 I don't speak Mandarin but that's how we call it at my gym. So to answer your question, yes.
