had a 7 color LED from streetglow on my truck.. lasted for a year in a half and had some issues lol... water got in one of the tubes, shorted the control box and burnt half of the tube out.. thinking about getting this set for my car and taking it off during the winter.. living in michigan we had pretty hard snow fall and cold... ill admit, that color on the snow looked so amazing i really do miss it.. but there is just so much in this offer i dont think i can pass it up!

They do hold up extremely well to the elements, but if you are in an area that get a large snowfalls, I would remove them in the winter just to be safe. Better to be safe then sorry!

What if it's raining or the car goes through a car wash, does it mess up the lights underneath??

The included underbody tubes are water resistant and you should have no issues with rain, and you should be fine with a car wash as well. I would just be sure that if you are going through a car wash, nothing is going to catch the tubes and pull them or high pressure sprayers don't directly hit them. You looking at about 200,000 running hours, they are extremely durable and rarely ever burn out. Really glad you like your kit, when are you posting your video? haha

The interior kit you should be good with, as far as the underbody, if you do not have much experience with installs, I would definitely recommend taking it to a shop to have it installed.

Installation time depends on how adept you are with vehicle installations. Before purchasing and deciding to install it yourself you can check out our underbody installation video, that is found on our YouTube Channel, or you can head to LEDGlow.com and check out our installation instructions. Installation can take anywhere from 2 to 4 hours depending on your knowledge and make and model vehicle.

hey @ledglow whats the difference between the normal and the expanable kits. Can i not just add the expanable circuit to the normal one to do what the expanable kit does? Also do you not sell the 4" mini tubes?

Are you referring to the expandable interior kits or the expandable underbody kits? Our wireless underbody kits will allow you to add 6 interior tubes and our expandable interior kits will allow you to have up to 6 interior tubes on one control box. If you have any other questions just ask!

The expandable circuit allows you to power this kit right from your fuse box, and makes the install much easier. Older model cars use a lager fuse as opposed to newer models that use the mini fuse. That is why we offer to options.

Other then the tube diameter, there are a couple differences between those kits. The million color kit has 18 solid color modes and 23 lighting effects, as opposed the the slimline kit that has 7 solid color modes and 18 lighting effects. The LEDs are just as bright, and the colors look great, the difference in price is due to the fact the million color kit features more solid color modes and lighting effects. If you need anything else just ask!

Probally will come back and get the wheel well and engine neons as well but going to wait a little bit just to make sure its what i want. Also yall guys got really great customer service. I had a question that applies to this and your advanced 3 million color kit.

Is there a setting or switch that could be wired so that the underbody kit can be turned off while driving (Illegal in Michigan) but allow me to have the interior tubes still active? Or is my only option to have two separate kits, one for the underbody, and one for the interior?

As of right now you cannot separately control the interior and underbody lights, so you would have to have two separate kits. Stay tuned because we are always launching new products, and this option may be available.
