It was a huge kick. And if you've kicked a "torpedo" punt there's a good chance the ball will keep going the way it was kicked after it's bounced off a wet surface. What a massive kick.
Well yeah it is somewhat unpredictable the bounce but obviously u can kick it certain ways to help with that, you can also read the ball when ur chasing it by looking at the stitching. AFL is an endurance sport and Rugby needs short bursts of power.. skill based sport against a strength based sport so there is no reason to compare them but yes rugby players would definitely have the fitness to go with afl players.. i guess we will see when karmichael hunt starts

if any yanks try saying nrl is the roughest sport you can all suck my big australian dick because in nrl the wear body armour shoulder pands helmets ect. auzzie rules and rugby players have no protective gear what so ever all they have are shirts and shorts no body armor or helmets

look boys girls whatever you are, i play both auzzie rules and rugby and they are alot different. no you dont need as much skill in rugby as you do in auzzie rules but yes rugby is alot rougher and you people saying its a poofta sport should really look at the aspect that big muscley guys running into others is not pussy it takes alot of gutts to run into someone 3 times youre size i should know im 170cms tall and only weigh 55kilos

AFL is an endurance sport and Rugby needs short bursts of power.. skill based sport against a strength based sport so there is no reason to compare them but yes rugby players would definitely have the fitness to go with afl players.. i guess we will see when karmichael hunt starts

Why are you trying to compare rugby and AFL there two different sports and richo95 you must be reatarded cause i doubt you would ever find an AFL player that could come close to a back in rugby in kicking off a Tee let alone quite a few other skills but im not arguing either side.
main points:
different ball (i play both and trust me the balls are a LOT different to play with)
different skills
different pitch
rugby players generaly need to pack on more muscle and as a result are slower.

kicking off a tee is not an indicator of skills..by any stretch of the imagination --> there's no way you can deny that on average the afl player needs a much higher skill set than the rugby league/union player
