Yeah, I see. Good memories on the N64, playing the hell out of Road Rash 64, Star Wars Episode 1 racer, Vigilante 8 2nd Offense, among others!

Another thing I like about the game is how quiet the main menu is, gives me positive chills every time!

This is the racing game with the best speed feeling that I have ever played. You really felt like a Jedhi hen you played it cause it was so fast and yet you managed to steer. I dont know how the programers did it really!!?

@magotaa try enabling compatability mode (properties>compatability) If that dosent do ti you are missing files. What version were you using? PC or emulator and N64/Dreamcast?

PS I know this is super late but it might helps someone else if they are having the same problem.

BTW for those having problen runing native on windows. Try using 3D ANALYZE . There is check boxes for runing unde DX 8.1 and disabling the pixel shaders

LOL , I use to play this game on a K6-II 500Mhz and a PCI-TNT card. The feeling of speed was amazing. The music was top notch; truly a Star Wars fan delight.

i have also a nVidia GeForce 8600M GT video card, but i think i must install XP on my computer to fix the white screen problem. it tested the game on another PC which runs Win XP with a video card similar to my one and there are no problems.

@magotaa Try project64,it's awesome,you can set HD resolutions ,activate Antialiaisng ,Anisotropic ,filter,controls(xbox360 controller accepted) easy to optimized,etc.I recommend it since my n64 died :(

I played this in the arcade in Toronto, when it first came out, and it had the two levers on either side to control speed and turning simultaneously. It was pretty nice (but expensive).

If you have an NVIDIA card, you may have to downgrade your drivers. The last driver version to support this game seems to be 186.18. Anything after that didn't work for me. Hope this helps!

I have such fond memories of this game. Most intense racer...EVER.....it's just craziness....ahhh the memories A friend and I were very competitive when playing this game. We would sit back, smoke a joint, and jump into POD racing, didn't even have time to blink. Friends would watch and they would say they had to look away from the screen or they would get sick....

with such a card its unique to have that problem. all though its 3 weeks ago i belive you need to learn about compatability settings:-

right click the run application,

properties,

compatability,

run in compatability with *98 is best*

if its vista it is diffrent so try your hardest to do equal steps and if its windows 7 idk what to do
