I decided I want to play this game again as a magic user. I always struggled with magic on fable two. I'm horrible at changing to the spell I want while in combat.

@Michigan1985 if u cant change spells in combat then pause the game (at a VERY sensible moment when ur not about to get whacked) go to the spell selector, then pikc a spell that u think will be more usefull

I like to use the staff that you get from the knothole glade expansion as well as keep a pistol at my side (so that it doesn't show). It makes my toon look a bit more like a pure will user as opposed to a spellsword.

I loved using will on the first fable. Is it just me or has anyone noticed how difficult and non user friendly it is on fable 2. I haven't messed around with it too much but it seems clunky and useless if you put too much into spells. I've been a real fan of ranged combat though. I focused on accuracy and speed early on and invested in a good gun. That combined with the slow down time spell for close ranged combat (only spell I have). Usually I just pick people off with my gun though.

@HolyShadow180 If you have a 360 now, I'd say go ahead and get it, although it's very very different than Fable 1, and there are better 360 games than this out there right now. I'd recommend getting Oblivion, Fallout (either one), or Gears of War before picking this one up.

Heard good things about Gears of War, not sure. Red Dead Redemtion looks good? and always been into Dragon Ball z games 360 DBZ game look pretty good =D

@JaymzLea I found lots of games cheap today so, I brought Fable 2, Halo 3 (Played Halo 1 and 2 on pc want to know what happens =D) Halo Wars Fan of RTS and Halo I had to see it!!

Going for Red Dead and DBZ after Xmas. Got 18 Games already but dunno what they are haha

@HolyShadow180 I got the new 360 slim over the summer. Went and bought this a few weeks ago. It comes with the DLC expansion content and vision of the future. All for just 20 bucks. If you liked the first one it's definitely worth it. It's even more fun with xbox live. You can see and play with other people on xbox live. Some guy randomly gave me 11 million gold my first day playing. :)

i think the "slow time" spell would look much more badass if the clock was inscribed on the floor once the mage smashes the ground. that way the spell could also just be active in the area where the clock is (and that area would increase with a spell upgrade)

Download the Knothole Island DLC, buy scar-removal potions from the Beautician, drink them until the marks go away. I think that's the only way.

will using let me down in this game, it just felt so......weak. i shouldnt have to spam one enemy, even with a first level of a spell, so much i get bored and have to switch to a sword to beat them. If it was set more like the original fable and you could just attack with the full power of the spell, it would make will powers much more appealing.

if you se a group of for exempel bandit then just take the time spell lv 3 and then run in the midle of all the bandits and then load the fire spell up to lv 5 aoe attack and you will kill evry thing

orrr ill just rise dead, head shot a few, then shock'em. how i fight the bosses. letem fight my minions and shock shock shock :D

Against trolls, I like to use level 1 or 2 slow time, then run up and charge a big-ass shock spell. Works wonders in the last round of the crucible.

Personally I'd go with this. But RE5 is good too.

RE5 is kinda like Dead Space, but Dead Space is scary as hell and RE5 isn't even mildly frightening. Straight up action.

There's no limit on magic, so no need to worry about that. You upgrade str and skill as you play (they have 3 subcategories each). The thing with will is you just choose the powers you want as you go along, and if you don't like one you can cash it back in for a percentage of the XP you used on it.

Not sure. Me, I prefer to max out fairly, much more fun that way. lol

I'm sure someone else could tell you though. Good luck getting that X-Box as well, might I suggest Gears of War 2 as another must-have?

Well firstly, there's obviously the original Gears of War and the first Fable ( but maybe you have Fable already?). You may also wanna pick up Mass Effect, it's pretty cool.

Oh, there's also Viva Pinata. You may be thinking, "What the fuck..." but trust me, if you're willing to drop your masculinity wall (completely) for a few hours it's unbelievably fun.

Some others that aren't exclusive are Fallout 3, Bioshock, and Resident Evil 5, but you may already have those for PS3 or PC.

im a will users the thing is always have lvl 2 or 3 raise dead so they can carry monster aggro, lvl 5 lighting or blades on everything on the field, chaos and vortex suck no matter what lvl it is... I wish there were more spells though, I really missed ghost swords and drain spell.

You have to play the game before you make an opinion of it, i wasn't that fond of it either then i actually baught it, it's really enjoyable and entertaining, quests are good, money making / having a family..not to mention the spells and combat.

Nah, the combat is context-sensitive so it'll do it by itself as long as you have the thumbstick pointed in the right direction. It's easy to get the hang of.

If you are having trouble getting to do high spells because you keep getting hit. I found that if you use the raise dead spell the enemies (no matter how many) will be distracted fighting the little demon things instead of you letting you get to your high spell.
