  • Thanks!

  • Sweet, and I dig how you let the improv slowly build and the come back down. And it was refreshing to see (and hear) no leslie switching and drawbar stuff!! Just straight ahead. (like TM & JDF) You've taught me alot! Thanks

  • @b3boneman thanks!!

  • Fantastic.

  • Very funky. How much is a used Hammond B3 Generally? Also Does the B3 have speakers built in?

  • There are still plenty of people using B3's out there. No it does not have speakers built in to it.

  • Guatemala baby, nice =)

  • Nicely Done.

  • This is really nice. I am a beginner organist. Really enjoy uploads like this.

  • solid funky pocket. ya got my vote.

  • I'm enjoying this video as well as others you've shared.

A question about fingering. I can't get comfortable with the head over the A13, B13 phrase. Suggestions?

  • I finger each bar as it's own phrase- so I hop my thumb from the last note of the A7 bar to the first note of the B7 Bar. Try this fingering- 5231321 for A7 bar and then 1532 for B7. My only other suggestion is practice it slowly! Thanks for listening!

  • The finger hop seemed to be the only solution. Just needed some reassurance, I guess.

"Amazing Slow Downer" is an amazing bit of software that I wish I'd had forty-five years ago. :-)

Planning on a DC gig any time soon?

  • I don't have anything coming up in DC right now, but you can keep checking in on my website, I'm sure I'll be down there again. Thanks!

  • Great! Nice and soulfull. Love the organsound!

  • If you don't mind my asking, what tonebar setting are you using?

  • The same typical Jimmy Smith ones that we all use.

  • Which is umm, what may I ask? I'm a very beginner organist..

  • Is that a model A with Trek ll percussion?
