  • OMG!! This is like my dream comes true..

  • i like your version better that master replicas and Hasbro

  • Star wars directors edit the video

  • Do you sell these?

  • my dream is to make an awsome lightsaber like that so if anyone has a link of any site or video of a tutorial PLEASE tell me!!!

  • I would like to order one. How much would it cost. I know it takes like three months or so, but please let me know if you can, and the price. :] :]

  • How I buy?

  • @ZaneSano Sorry, not for sale.

  • So how does this compare to an Ultrasaber?

  • Comment removed

  • @TacoManiac1000 $80 to $120 wouldn't cover the electronics, let alone the metal, or time it would take to machine another one. Just FYI

  • @slothfurnace sorry for the terrible offer. i feel like an idiot.

  • @TacoManiac1000 Moron

  • Sexy lightsaber replica!!! IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!

  • where can i buy the parts for this? ,thanks

  • @slothfurnace Spawn killer!

  • @slothfurnace How did you apply the paint?

  • @mrstarwarsdude909

    3...2...1...*boop!

    *Respawn*

    Perhaps you meant 'respond'. ;)

  • Small question, when you turn the bottom of the hilt is it a spring action that moves the handle up to expose the crystal chamber, or did you do some sleight of hand to move it up yourself?

Furthermore, when you moved it down why did you not need to turn it to lock it?

  • @RSukato It is spring loaded. There's a spring in the grooved section pushing against the front, with rods going through the rear handle to the pommel end. When the pommel is twisted, it unlocks those rods, and lets the spring push the chamber open. More details on my site, plus complete build log at slothfurnace main site. Google slothfurnace.

  • how much was that?

  • @noah10558 He made it.

  • hmm that green glow in the middle of the handle looks like a saber crystal :)

  • i would like to commission you to build me a luke skywalker lightsaber from rotj just like the one in the video.please contact me to talk about price. okay thanks.

  • @Fireseed124 Sorry, not taking any new commissions at this time... Thanks.

  • That is probably the coolest thing I ever Saw like the crystal actually emitting the light for the blade very very original

  • can you change the light or no just so something cool?

  • Hi slothfurnace I really would like to commission you to build a lightsaber exactly like the one in this video. To be precise Luke skywalkers lightsaber from return of the Jedi. I live in ireland. Please respond to this comment and then we can talk about the cost and whatever else. Thank you

  • @gagalover2k10 Sorry, thanks for the interest, but i am not taking any new commissions at this time.

  • @slothfurnace Quick question - I would love to build a model ROTJ Luke saber. Did you use or create any sort of guide to parts/steps that someone wouldn't have a terrible time interpreting and could make their own?

    Thanks so much!

  • Where i can buy this lightsaber

  • I don't carry a stock of these, they are made one at a time on commission. That being said, my commission time is booked till mid 2011.

  • Is this using an FX Saber sound board? you should use Petit Crouton or UltraSound 2.1+ or Crystal Focus. They're all expensive but, they're worth it for the more authentic ignition sound and kill sound.

  • @Boltfiger they do have better sound, but none of those are small enough to fit inside the saber and still allow for the mechanism to open and close, therefore the wrong choice for this saber.

  • are these available to buy? if so, how much?

  • Comment removed

  • I didn't buy it. I made it in my garage.

  • This is awesome where did you buy it

  • That is so badass

  • There are already triangular LEDs on the control box. Barely enough room. Inside the control box is the activation switch, the pololu latching switch board, two triangular LEDs, etc. I have a complete build log and step by step photos at my site. Google search for slothfurnace.

  • That is an absolutely stunning Saber, the proportions look very accurate. I just wondered do you think there would be room inside to fit the Red / Green LED's for the side of the activation box? Please don't take that as a criticism, I'm attempting to build my own saber with the help of the FX-Saber forum and am interested in the logistics of building a saber like this, not that I have any delusions of building anything as nice as this! A+

  • This saber was a Christmas present commission for a good friend of mine. His family contracted me to build it. It took about 4 months, and it was machined by hand out of aluminum tubing and rod. The blade is very steady and durable, with 90 hard soldered LEDs in a string. Thank you all for watching!

  • Thanks all! It was fun to build this saber.

  • that looks amazing

  • I so got to get me one of those.

  • do all lightsabers have a crystal chamber you can see?

  • so epic it hurts

  • :05 you broke my screen when you pointer the blade at it, please send compensation for a new one lol

  • dude, you are amazing, simply amazing, you do that thing? there are many creators of light saber, but this one particulary is amazing for the crystal chamber, is exactly like I think must be a crystal chamber of a real light saber if was a real weapon, great detail that, with a expulsion-reconected system, wow, dudes, here are a real sabersmith, a question, the blade is strong like to hit hard strikes? for a saber duel for short films? how many money is the cost? you sell planes or intructions?

  • whooooooaaaaa where did you get that???????

  • where did u get that light saber???

  • What company made that how much is it and where can i buy it?

  • Dont look in there! you cut your face off man!

  • what is this replicas? hasbro one? how much did you pay fo it?

  • you are a genius, care to make one for me, if yes, how much will you charge?

  • I respectfully bow to the god of saber creators. That is the finest example of hand crafted art, attention to detail i've ever seen. And the creation and execution of the spring loaded/locking crystal chamber just blows my mind. I wish i could think like that.... simply amazing.

  • soooo subcribed, a lightsaber guy, COME ON!

    your so boss

  • That is fucking cool.

  • TMFT

  • 9001 views! ITS OVER 9000!!!1

  • @jellomello124 *Crushes scouter* Kill it!

  • When it flicked out and showed the crystal I was very impressed. Well done! I did a 3D model of this very lightsaber and apart from the button module being too thick it is very accurate

  • I'm not even a big star wars fan, but that looks awesome.

  • That light saber is just whatI need.

    dyingjedi

  • saw it on reddit, its amazing!!!!! also how you made it,
