She's guilty as sin, but the jury made the right decision. The prosecution did not prove that she was guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. That's not to say I think she's innocent, but the prosecution had a weak case and overreached by going for the death penalty.

I don't believe casey killed caylee like someone posted there is too many unanswered questions in this case. I can't explain the 31 days of not reporting, but I have believed that some people tried to set casey up, the fact about the chlorofrom , the prosection expert later said that there was only 1 search for chlorform which lasted about 34 seconds , instead of the 84 but this was never told to anyone til after the trail and these videos on here are some that were lost for some time

As a mother myself, if I was not guilty, I would be so worried about my child that I wouldn't care about myself at all. I'd be asking everyone to please help find my child, plus I'd be crying and a total wreck not knowing where my child was. What I've thought, however, is that the nanny may have intentionally used the name of someone else. That way, when Casey identified the nanny by name, it would only lead to someone else who is actually innocent. This would effectively create confusion and lead people off the trail of the real abductor.

And the reason Casey waited 31 days is because the nanny had threatened the safety of her daughter if she chose to contact police. And the reason the court didn't acknowledge the existence of the nanny is simply because authorities coudln't find her. But I do believe that nanny exists somewhere as Casey maintained all this time. She's guilty as sin, but the jury made the right decision. The prosecution did not prove that she was guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. That's not to say I think she's innocent, but the prosecution had a weak case and overreached by going for the death penalty.

I can't explain the 31 days of not reporting, but I have believed that some people tried to set casey up, the fact about the chlorofrom , the prosection expert later said that there was only 1 search for chlorform which lasted about 34 seconds , instead of the 84 but this was never told to anyone til after the trail and these videos on here are some that were lost for some time

Casey was on teh computer searching chloroform in March, Caylee disappeared in June. @nonnaof4: Yes, they did find another woman of the same name as the nanny. That woman is now trying to sue Casey for defamation.
What I've thought, however, is that the nanny may have intentionally used the name of someone else. That way, when Casey identified the nanny by name, it would only lead to someone else who is actually innocent. This would effectively create confusion and lead people off the trail of the real abductor.
Premeditated murder must be carefully planned out...

I believe that Casey is innocent. There is no physical evidence to link her to any crime. And the reason Casey waited 31 days is because the nanny had threatened the safety of her daughter if she chose to contact police. And the reason the court didn't acknowledge the existence of the nanny is simply because authorities coudln't find her. But I do believe that nanny exists somewhere as Casey maintained all this time. Somewhere out there, there is a very smart and elusive killer still loose.

Therefore, Jose Baez, her defense attorney, has no choice but to concede that Casey was lying as well (even though he may believe she is telling the truth). Baez is simply playing the court politics. I suspect this is also the case when he brought up the drowning theory.

This whole fiasco makes me sick! They didn't connect the dots? When defense eam asserted that Caylee "drowned", who dumped the body in the woods? How and where was Casey "looking" for her daughter...at the tattoo parlor and hot body contest? At the very least, in not reporting her daughter missing from the start, she shoud have been guilty of child abandonment, i.e., abuse. What normal person acts this way?
