i can't believe simon is gone and paula also.i was planning on going to audition for american idol season 13 (i'll be 16 at the time i'm now 13 but will be 14 in april.) but i'm not sure if american idol will still be on by then but we'll see,if not then i'll audition for x factor USA but we'll see how the ratings are going.

after Season 8 and all the "drama" that surrounded Kris, Adam, Allison & Danny... Simon made the show entertaining for me. I liked him because he would be straight up, he wouldn't be like "Oh, I'm sorry. But, I don't think you have what it takes...aww...." he'd say "What in the hell was that?! My, god. That was terrible, just leave." And it was also funny. He was honest and didn't sugar-coat it. I haven't seen Ellen but I take her as someone who would sugar-coat it. The other three judges do, and if Simon's replacement does that too, then the show isn't near as entertaining.

Who cares he's prick anyway. Anyway American Idol has only been around for a short while, who cares what Simon or anybody else says. Most of the musicians that are famous today became famous without the show and before the show even existed, so to hell with this screwed up show that had two washed up singers and one record executive who has always been basically a nobody all his career.

Simon was american idol, he was the tough one that didn't hold back, and on Paula leaving, it was stupid, Paula was getting paid about 16 million to say, "well.... um.... ya... you look nice." after an audition. Mark my words, American Idol will fail without Simon by 2012, I'll give it a little less than 2 years maybe 3 years, I don't think that American Idol will survive without Simon past 2013...

after Season 8 and all the "drama" that surrounded Kris, Adam, Allison & Danny... American Idol had nowhere to go but downhill anyway, and season 9 proved it, as the seemingly most boring uneventful season of american idol ever. I wasn't gonna watch idol anymore anyway cuz it's already reached its peak. It's called quitting while you're ahead. If the x factor sucks I'll just go to another Adam Lambert concert.

simon is really crushing my dreams. I had dreams that, should "idol" come back to phoenix, that I would go and audition, without high expectations of really moving on, just to see what simon would think. Now I will never find out. What a heart breaker.

there is no American Idol without Simon. Yes he is mean but thats what ppl need. not "oh, well sweetie, you tried your hardest and your so cute so WELCOME TO HOLLYWOOD" screw that. my best Simon moment was when he asked the girl if she had a vocal instructor, she said yes. does she have a lawyer, she said no. he told her to get one and sue the vocal instructor lol. Love Simon's brutal honesty. Time to tune in to X Factor :D

Lord knows i love Ellen!!!... but... i don't think she is meant to judge american idol... without Simon the show is going to be boring... half of the reason most people watch the show is just to see what Simon will say about the person coming in to audition..... he may not be the nicest person but.. he tells people the truth... somebody has to tell them before they make fools out of themselves.

Simon made the show entertaining for me. I liked him because he would be straight up, he wouldn't be like "Oh, I'm sorry. But, I don't think you have what it takes...aww...." he'd say "What in the hell was that?! My, god. That was terrible, just leave." And it was also funny. He was honest and didn't sugar-coat it. I haven't seen Ellen but I take her as someone who would sugar-coat it. The other three judges do, and if Simon's replacement does that too, then the show isn't near as entertaining.

Simon Can't LEAVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hate him, while loving him. . . as you said in the video. Why the heck is he leaving? He is the sun. . . of. . . AMERICAN IDOL! He was my favorite judge! In school, we did commercials and my friend Rylee was him, she did the invention Sing A Song Soda, and we did American Idol, she was Simon, and somebody sang TERRIBLE! Then they used the sing a song soda. . . and Rylee (Simon) Said "I didn't want that to end, welcome to hollywood!"
