How to install Cyanogenmod 7 on Samsung Galaxy S

COULD SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME ?? I DID THIS AND APPLIED UPDATE WITH SD CARD AND THEN IT WAS FLASHING AND IT REBOOTED THAN NOW IT FINISHES AND GOES TO THE CWM AND ITS BLUE WRITING COLOUR BUT IF I POWER OFF AND BACK ON IT JUST GOES BACK TO CWM, CAN SOMEONE HELP PLEASE???

I just realized that even the man who did this video have same problem as i have and no 1 can fix it

so the problem is the rotation of the screen i would have been happy if some one would make an app that i can adjust the rotation

@kidswagggg use odin 1 click......but you must be in download mode first then hit "start" NOT MASTERCLEAR....unless ofcourse your flashing constantly like me :)..it removes more than factory reset does....it completely wipes internal and external sd cards....muahahaha

At minute 3:40 the power button menu shows items like "reboot", "recovery" and "download" which are not displayed in the standard Samsung rom. How did you get them?

The method on the official forum posted by codeworkx is different now, it says to just use the - kernel-cm-7-INITIAL-DEVICE-sig­ned.zip

- update-cm-7-INITIAL-DEVICE-sig­ned.zip files and thats it.

Great video! Will your video instructions work with a Samsung Vibrant? Does the front facing camera work and if it does, can you still record in HD video? I noticed on some other ROM's that if FFC support is installed it knocks out the HD video recording. Thanks.

@mendhamgolf I played with the cams today. The FFC does NOT work well to begin with. It's basically unuseable as I found that it is rotates the image sideways first of all, and the quality was poor. However that is not with the latest CM7 version that just came out (yesterday I believe.) I will update to that release later today and report further.

@straightupfruit the earlier Bell phones that came with Eclair were commonly having sd card failures. However after JL2 Froyo came out, that has stopped being a problem. Did your fixed phone come with JL2? (and your first phone didn't fry the sd card because of flashing roms, they were failing even on non-rooted stock eclair phones. ) You should flash again cause latest custom gingerbread roms are awesome.
